"NO! Don't you die on me! Fuck! Frosty hurry please we're losing him!" Aella exclaimed frantically doing all she could to stop the strange man from bleeding out more.
If he died now she would be devastated!
This man was a message from God, he was giving her a chance to save a life to make up for the ones she took. She knew she would be punished on her final judgment day but maybe she didn't have to be completely damned. There was still some good in her regrettably darkened heart and Aella was going to hold onto that for as long as she could.

Looking down at the stranger who rested within her arms Aella knew deep inside her that if she saved him he would change her life completely. Maybe he was the key to her family's freedom from that disgusting man.
"Please don't die.......I need you....." Aella whispered as tears began making there way down her cheeks.

Frosty on the other hand was completely confused but did as Aella asked and pushed the car to its limits.
Never in the short years of knowing her had he seen her act this way before. She had always been so strong and stoic yet here she was now breaking down over some random guy who slit his wrists in a sewage tunnel. He couldn't lie to himself though there was something weirdly special about the guy which made him want to help him too.
Was it the green hair?
His ghostly white skin?
The slits on his wrists?
Frosty didn't know but of felt like his future was linked with this stranger and if he died everything else did too.
Where did this guy come from anyway?
Was he some down on his luck homeless man or had something sinister happened in his life that shattered everything?

The ride back to Frosty's house was the longest journey but shortest journey of there lives.

Luckily Frosty had managed to get a hold of a doctor once he saw the state of the man and had ordered him to get there before they did

Luckily Frosty had managed to get a hold of a doctor once he saw the state of the man and had ordered him to get there before they did. Dr Johnson had cared for his family for years so it was no surprise that he had done as he asked and was now stood by the entrance waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully this would give the stranger a much more bigger chance at survival.

Jumping out the car as quick as he could Frosty opened the back and grabbed from man a crying Aella. Sprinting to the door he saw the doctors face drop.
"Lord have mercy! What happened to him?" Dr Johnson exclaimed moving himself out the way to let Frosty in.
"Looks like a suicide attempt, he's bleeding out Doc, I need your help" Frosty huffed adjusting the stranger in his arms.
"I'll try my best, take him to the master bedroom!" Johnson ordered matching Frosty's rushed pace.
"Please don't let him die! I need him" Aella sobbed as she appeared in the room looking on helplessly.
"I'm going to need some space Frost" Johnson frowned once the man had been placed on the bed.
If he was going to save him he needed to focus, he couldn't have wailing women in the room.

"Yes Doc!" Frosty saluted him and taking a deep breath he approached Aella carefully not wanting her to have one of her fits.
Gently grabbing her arm he pulled her out the room, shutting the door behind him.
"Come on Aella the doctor needs space to do his job" he pointed out with a stern tone hoping she wouldn't protest.
Aella feeling offended went to speak up but the look on Frosty's face froze her, he was completely right.
The ghostly man needed saving and they were going to no help to him or the doctor, it would be best if they both sat and wait.

Both of the young adults were nervous wrecks, never in their lives had they felt such a connection with another human being. It felt like if he died they would too and yes it was strange to feel that way but it was the only thing that was making sense to them right now.
Surely hours had passed now and the doctor still hadn't came out!
Was this a good sign or a bad one?
Oh god! What if the stranger had already died before Frosty laid him on the bed.

Finally after what seemed forever the door leading to the master bedroom opened and a exhausted Dr Johnson walking out.
"He's alive" he announced with a weak smile.
"Oh thank you! Thank you!" Aella and Frosty cheered jumping up from their seats only to be cut off.
"He is also very weak and sick! The man has had some rough times and his recovery will not be an easy one. He's going to need constant care and treatment, the second stage is always the most difficult after being saved. It's up to us to look after him and offer whatever support he needs but first we must wait until he wakes up" Dr Johnson explained sitting down himself in exhaustion.

"We understand Doc! Frosty and I will do all we can to help but first may I go see him?" Aella asked feeling a sense of desperation, she needed to know that he was truly alive.
"Of course but do not try to wake or startle him, let him rest" Johnson ordered with a warning tone.
Nodding her head Aella turned and quietly rushed into the room.
A relieved sigh escaped her lips as the first thing she heard was the heart monitor beeping strongly besides him, he really was alive.
His arms were now bandaged you and he had been cleaned, there was also a slight rise in his chest which hadn't been there earlier. He looked so peaceful but the trauma on his body told a whole different story.
Aella urgently wanted to know all about him, the guy was so intriguing.
The first thing she wanted to know was his reason for being in the sewage tunnel and why he felt the need to try suicide.

Approaching the bed she sat down carefully at his side and gently held his hand.
From this day forward she was going to be there for him no matter what!
In all this drama she had forgot to call the boss and tell him how successful the latest mission was, she knew she'd get punished but he would have to wait. What was happening here was more important, she just hoped he didn't hurt her family because of it.

Aella must have fallen asleep because she was suddenly awoken by someone tightly squeezing her hand and a loud grumbling.
Opening her eyes she found herself staring back into the bluest sea, it was mesmerising!
It took her a few moments to realise it was the man's eyes, he was awake and looking straight into her soul.
"Who are you?!" He demanded coldly, glaring at her with such hate she felt her insides freeze up.
"I'm Aella, who are you?" She whispered more intrigued than ever.
"Where is she?!" He spat again ignoring her question and gripping her tighter.
"Where is who?! I don't understand!" Aella exclaimed, mind racing in shock.
For a man who had just nearly died he was unbelievably strong!
His touch was crushing her and he looked so evil, so enraged at the sight of her.

"WHERE'S MY WIFE?!"
