Diary Entry:
Arrel Greene
Date:
May 15, XX18

Dear Diary,

Me and Aries have spent more and more time together.

Today, he took me out to the docks.

We rode on a boat by twillight, and steered into the swamp that connects into the ocean.

We steered into the swamp as the sun sunk into the horizon.

But Aries being the jerk he is, rocked the boat sideways every now and then. Heck.

He even told me that there were alligators in it. Frightening me as I was not born a swimmer; let alone was I going to swim with alligators.

Much to his delight, had motion sickness. I had to lean on him and bury my face into his shoulder so I wouldn't feel the gentle rocking of the boat.

But soon enough, the boat had came to a stop.

I looked up at Aries, puzzled, more or so frightened, and he gave me a reassuring smile.

Reluctantly, I stared ahead and saw millions and thousands of lightning bugs; fireflies.

A smile crept to my face and I started trying to catch one, failing miserably.

Aries laughed. Within a single swing of his hand, he had one inside his fist.

Internally, Aries held back a very genuine smile. And asked himself.
Is it wrong for me to love a man as lovable as you, Arrel Greene?

Diary Entry End.
