Dear Diary,

Daddy heard about me sneaking out to go boat riding with Aries. He was so mad he yelled at me. That was a first, and it terrified me.

I can remember it clear as day:
"Arrel I told you! Do not leave the house, and yet you did! How could you? Never talk to that guy ever again!"

"But I want to see the world outside! I lived here for more than a decade and not once did I ask you to allow me to go outside because I knew you'd need me here more than anybody else!" I said back, tearfully, and utmostly terrified of my own father.

He was left speechless by my suddem outburst, I had caught him with his guard down.

"For years I did everything you asked me to! Just let me be happy! Let me live my own life just like how I want it to be! I'm old enough for you to trust me!" I blurted out amd panted heavily as I wiped my tear stained cheeks.

"I trust you Arrel." He pleadingly said.

"It doesn't feel like it!" I retorted in sheer anger and disbelief that the words came out of my mouth as a silent yet audible whisper.

And without hesitation, accompanied by a spiteful glare, I had left my father there standing, mouth agape.

I went out to the balcony and I stared at the sea. How I'd love to have Mommy here with me.
