POV: Jin
I ran back home as soon as I can, but I knew he was chasing me from behind.I screamed and yelled and hoped that somebody would see just how much of a psychopath he was, but of course, it was the middle of the night and nobody was going to see anyway.
"Call for help if you want. Shout all you want, Seokjin, for it won't bother me. It doesn't matter, they won't see me. They won't find me and lock me back up where y'all think I belong!"
"You're joking!" I screamed, refusing to believe it.
Tears were flooding down my face like somebody climbing into an overflowing bathtub.
"Joking about what, Seokjin?" he sniggered, as though he didn't already know.
"Don't you dare play the fucking fool with me! You know exactly what I'm talking about!"
"But does it look like I care? I don't think so!"
"Well, I do! Tell me what the fuck you've done to my poor princess! You... you can't tell me you've done something bad! You couldn't have! I know you wouldn't have done that!" I shrieked, still running.
"What makes you say that?" a nasty grin appeared on his face.
"I'm trying to be hopeful! I... you're making me lose faith!"
"Shut the fuck up, Seokjin. Don't act as though you've always had faith in anything, because you're just a worthless piece of disgusting scum and you know that. You know that I mean everything I say, and if I kill you, I would never do it without a concrete reason. That's why I've killed him."
"Her! It's her, get your goddamn pronouns right because it's really not that difficult! And no, you haven't! You wouldn't dare mess with her! I wouldn't let you!"
"Pff, at least you tried," he scoffed. "I mean, you've fucked it all up anyway but it's the participation that counts, not the win. Be proud of yourself." he said, his voice oozing with sarcasm.
"I don't wanna hear any more of this, please!" I begged, crying.
I was out of breath and my running was slowing down, but I still kept going. My vision started to fade and I blinked and blinked just to make sure I wouldn't faint.
I dashed home, wheezing and coughing like I'd just been caught up in a fire. I threw open the front doors and followed the trail of red blood towards the living room, where Jimin was wincing and crying out in pain.
At least she's still alive.
