I woke up at the crack of dawn, no one was awake yet. I put on a faded pair of skinny jeans, and a plain black tank top and a black jacket, and left my cabin. The air was chilly with some fog. As I walked I looked at the different cabins, none of them really caught my attention until I passed Hades cabin. It was dark and gloomy like, but I felt some connection... it's probably nothing. I wandered around camp for an hour, making sure not to leave the border. I watched campers wake up and leave their cabins for breakfast. "Manda!" I voice yelled. I turned around only to see Jason. "Hey Jason, what's up?" He jogged up to me with a very pretty girl following close behind him, "just wanted to know if you would like to walk to breakfast with Piper and me?" He said. "Sure!"I replied cheerfully. "Hi I'm Piper, daughter of Aphrodite!" The girl said. "I'm Amanda! I don't know who my father is yet." I sighed at the last part.
Jason and Piper walked with me to the breakfast tables then we all separated to our tables. I sat down with the Hermes kids and a tiny girl, who looked about the age of 8, sat down next to me. I didn't really want to strike up a conversation, but she started talking, "Hi! I'm Caroline, my dads Hermes just like you! I think that makes us sisters!" I looked at her and said, "my name is Amanda, and I haven't been claimed yet, but maybe Hermes is my dad." She smiled and continued to talk to me for the remainder of the meal.

Jason showed me to the arena and started to show me how to use a sword. "Wow your a natural!" He told me. I laughed, "thanks Jason!" We battled for hours, until Jason screamed and backed away from me. "Jason what's wrong!?" I asked frantically. "Chiron! Someone get Chiron!" He yelled to some campers. They raced off and came back a few minutes later with Chiron the centaur. "Oh my" he mumbled. I looked above me and sure enough...I was the daughter of Hades.
