I woke up in my cabin with my brother sleeping in the bed beside me. I picked up the box my father gave me and opened it, I stared at it in awe. It was a silver rose that had my name engraved on it. "Thanks dad" I smiled. I put it on and walked over to Nico's bed, "Morning Sunshine" I laughed shaking him awake. "What's up with the name?" He yawned. "What? Sunshine? Oh you know just something I decided on on our way back from the Underworld" I giggled. "Wow" he mumbled.

"Does anyone know we're back?" I asked Nico. "Probably, word gets around fast here." Nico and I walked to the breakfast tables. "Manda!" I voice exclaimed as I felt a body ram into me and wrap their arms around me. "Hey-Jason-can't-breath" I coughed. "Sorry" he chuckled. "Why did you run away, you scared me!" I reassured Jason, "don't worry I'm fine, see" I gestured to myself. "Amanda!" Piper said racing towards Jason, Nico, and I. "Hey Piper" I greeted. Piper and I talked some then parted for breakfast. "What was in that box?" Nico asked as we sat down. "A necklace" I said setting down my fork to show him the rose necklace. "It's really pretty" he commented.

"I'm going to train" I informed Nico. "Have fun" he smiled. On my way to the arena I tripped over a metal device. "Ow" I moaned as I stood up. "I'm so sorry!" I voice said. "No it's-" I stopped when I saw who said it. he was cute! He had shaggy brown hair and a muscular but thin body. I guessed I had been staring when he started to laugh. I looked away knowing that I was blushing like crazy. "Hey it's ok girl, most women do that when they gaze upon me" he chuckled. "I really should be going-" I started to say, but he cut me off, "please don't go, I feel bad for being the reason you tripped. Come with me, I will make it up. What do you say?" I knew I was blushing, but I didn't really care, "sure" I said. "Come on," he commanded grabbing my hand(AN-feel free to fangirl!!!!). I felt a tingling sensation when we touched. This was a completely new feeling for me, and I didn't want it to stop.
