AN- sorry I haven't been able to update lately, I have STAAR testing(for those of you that don't know what that is it's the standardized testing for Texas schools.) I think I've come up with a updating schedule. I will try to update every Wednesday, and Friday, and some over the weekend if I can. Since it's the end of the year I may not always be able to update on those days...sorry.
*********Word Count-1819
Well Andy was definitely not going to be joining our tiny group, and Cassie was...dead. Our group now consisted of me, Leo, Heather and Brian.
"Guys I don't know what we are going to do... when we get to the Underworld that is," I commented. Heather frowned slightly, "we should probably go and see Hades, and figure out what's been stolen since no one has told us (AN-sorry I didn't put what's been stolen sooner. I kinda forgot...)
The bus stopped, "sounds like a plan, this is our stop," I said as the group and I made our way to the exit. We made our way out of the subway station and wow! Hollywood was massive!(I've never actually been to Hollywood so most of me describing it may be incorrect so just roll with it.) Shops covered every inch of the place. "Nice..." Heather stared in awe. "Yeah, Cassie would have loved this... you know daughters of Aphrodite," Brian commented. I smiled at Brian and gave him a friendly hug, "she will always be with us, in our hearts." Brian grabbed one of my hands and Leo grabbed the other, Heather held onto Brian's free hand and said, "who's ready to head to the Underworld?" I felt confident, "let's go."

(I got most of the beginning of this part straight from the first Percy Jackson book, so I didn't make it up...) We stood in the shadows of Valencia Boulevard, looking up at gold letters etched in black marble; DOA RECORDING STUDIOS. We walked through the glass doors and into a quiet lobby, tons of seats lined the walls and they were all occupied by people...dead people. "Act normal," Heather whispered. We approached a desk that had a tough looking guard with sunglasses and a earpiece. "Um sir are you Chiron?" Leo asked as politely as possible. The man sat forward and looked Leo dead in the eye(did you get the pun😂). "Now tell me boy, do I look like a centaur?" Leo gulped, "no sir sorry sir." I had to bite my tongue to keep myself from laughing. "Now I want you to read this name tag, C-H-A-R-O-N, now say it with me: CARE-ON." Leo did as he was told and the man sat back in his chair, "Now how may I help you dead ones?" Heather spoke up, "we need to get to the underworld." The man frowned, "well don't we all," he commented with sarcasm.
"We really need to get there as quick as possible," I said sweetly. He narrowed his eyes at me, "your a daughter of Hades, aren't you?" I gulped, "why does that mean anything?" Brian piped up before Charon could respond, "he has to do what you say... because Hades is his boss." I smirked, "take us to my fathers palace."

It was exactly the same as I remembered it, tall black pillars, massive, and creepy. The skeletal guards let us through the black doors and into the throne room. "Hello father," I bowed as we approached his throne. He frowned, "I see you have finally made it, and you're missing someone." Brian was hurt, I could tell just by looking at his face, "lord Hades we have come to you hoping to learn what has been stolen." Father grinned, "I see no one told you, well you're not getting any information from me." I glared, "what are you talking about! Why won't you tell us? I'm your daughter, can't you do one kind thing for me?" That angered him, "how dare you! I gave you the best thing I could! That necklace you wear, it protects you from being harmed by almost every monster from the Underworld." I was shocked, "it-it does?" He calmed down some, "yes, now just because you're my daughter does not mean that I will be nice to you and your friends." I groaned, "are all the gods as unreasonable as you?" He motioned for us to leave, "goodbye daughter, have fun on your quest." "I'm not leaving until you tell me what we must find and return!" My father just glared and sat back in his throne, "take them away." Guards came forward and grabbed Leo, Brian, and Heather. "No! Let them go father, we-we will leave," I cried out. I was upset to have to give up but Hades knew my worst nightmare. I don't know how but he did, but he did. "As you wish... daughter," he smirked. The skeletal guards let my group go, I rushed up to Leo and grabbed his hand, "let's go, my father is worthless." Hades looked sad and offended at the same time, "how dare you-" he was cut off by a calm, sweet woman who had a wonderfully peaceful aurora to her. "Now Honey, who is causing you to cause all this commotion?" Her voice was silky and it made me feel warm inside. "It is us lady Persephone," Heather bowed and signaled us to do the same. "Hello sister," she said to Heather. Heather smiled then looked at me to explain things. "Lady Persephone, we have come for answers on our quest," I smiled sweetly hoping that she would be more reasonable then my father. She frowned, "Hades you didn't tell her, did you?" "Well... no dear, she should find out for herself," he spat the last word. Persephone whispered something to Hades and he frowned, "now my daughter I will answer any questions you may have on your quest, but you must come with me to talk in private." Leo squeezed my hand reassuringly as he and the rest were led out of the room, leaving me alone with my father. "Now I'm aware that you may hate me right now, but please listen to what I'm going to say... what was stolen is something that you now carry on you." I was really confused now, "what is it father?" He pointed to my backpack which felt a tiny bit heavy all a sudden. I slung it off my back and opened it, "no way-" I stammered. Inside my bag lay a pair of golden winged sandals, Hermes sandals. "Looks like one of your friends has betrayed you," My father smirked. "No- Leo wouldn't, Cassie never had the chance, Brian would never, Heather wouldn't..." then it hit me, the only person who could have possible betrayed me is... Andy. "I see you've figured it out," my father said reading my emotions. "Do you know why Andy betrayed us?" I asked Hades. He frowned, "when Andy was 11 years old he made a horrible mistake. He was on a quest with five other demigods just like you. The first night he was confronted by a giant, his name is unknown but I believe he is the same giant who killed your mother..." his eyes were watery but he continued with the story. "The giant agreed to spare his life and his girlfriend, Catherine, if he made sure that his group didn't complete their quest and if Andy agreed to a life time of service to the giant. On the fourth night of his quest he led a minotaur to the rooms which his quest mates slept in. The minotaur killed everyone but Andy and Catherine. Andy was about to run away with Catherine but the Minotaur was ordered to kill them both. Andy tried to save her but the Minotaur killed her leaving Andy to forever serve the giant. Andy claimed that he was under a spell, so every god but me agreed to let him continue with his life, which was their mistake."
I was shocked, "he killed those campers?" Hades nodded, "one of those campers was...your sister." I froze, my what! My mom never told me I had a sister! No one ever even mentioned her. "Is this a trick father?" He looked slightly angered by that comment, "it most certainly is not! Your sister was the greatest warrior and girl I have ever seen!" I jumped back at his sudden outburst, with fear and sadness in my eyes. "I'm sorry my daughter. Would you allow me to explain some things... please." He stepped off his throne and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Yes father," I said. The next thing I did was something I had always wanted to do, I hugged him. He was shocked at first but gently wrapped his arms around me. "Your sister was one of the greatest warriors camp half blood had seen in a long time. The gods thought it would be wise to send her on that quest, so she went. When the Minotaur entered the room where she, a young girl named Annabelle and a boy named James were sleeping, your sister fought to her last breath in hopes to save them. When she died I wanted her to stay with me in the Underworld, but she chose rebirth. It seems my two daughters whom have passed both chose rebirth." I gave a fake smile hoping to lighten the mood, "what was her name?" He smiled, like actually smiled! "Her name was Rose Storm. Your mother and I didn't think she would make it because she was a very weak baby, and the doctors said that she wasn't likely to survive the next few hours, but she survived. She became the light of your mothers life, then when she died your mother became the cruel woman you knew her as. My other daughter who passed is Nico's blood sister. He name was Bianca Di Angelo, she died protecting the ones she loved. I hope that you will always protect those whom you love, and make me proud." I smiled at him, "thank you father... what should I do with the sandals?" He thought about it for a second, "I think you should travel to Olympus and return them to Hermes." I bowed before racing out of the throne room towards my friends.
"Amanda did you figure it out?" Heather asked. "Yes I will explain later, now we must travel to Olympus!" The four of us made our way towards the exit to the underworld. "I won't disappoint you father," I whispered.
