"Hey wake up sleepy head" a cold hand shook me awake. "Whatsgoingon" I mumble. Nico laughed, "its time for breakfast, but we don't have to go if you don't want to, I usually skip it because I'm lonely." I sat up, "we can go, you have me now, and I have you." As we walked to breakfast I could see campers eyes glued on me. Some whispered, "she will cause another war" and "she's just bad luck, it's written all over her." Soon I could take anymore and I marched over to one on the campers who seemed to be the leader of everyone who was talking trash about me. "What do you even have against me?! I haven't even done anything bad to anyone at this camp! What could you possibly dislike me for?!" I yelled at him. The camper looked stunned that I had actually spoke up for myself. "Well... your a child of Hades... and you will be the end of this camp and everyone in it. It's fate!" My legs felt like lead. "It said so in a prophecy" he continued. "Wha-what?" I felt tears coming to my eyes again. "No, no it's not! Chiron would have told me!" The camper grinned. "Nico, is it true?" I asked in a hushed voice. Nico looked as if he was about to cry, "let's talk about this-" I cut him off, "No! Why does everyone feel like they must always keep secrets from me! My mom did, everyone who knew about that prophecy did, and even you Nico!" The tears were coming now. But they weren't tears of sadness they were tears of anger. Suddenly skeletons emerged from the ground and started towards the camper whom I had been yelling at. "Amanda stop!" Nico yelled. I didn't know how to stop them so I ran, I ran past the border and into the forest. I could hear people yelling for me to stop running, but I didn't listen.

I ran until I thought that I was far enough from the camp and civilization to hurt anyone. "I'm a monster!" I sobbed into my hands. "Amanda!" I voice called. I didn't respond even though I felt like I should, I just sat there and looked off into the distance. The next thing I knew something rammed me in the head and I blacked out.
