"Good job Autumndamort." Grantbus says, "You actually made it in." He says with a snicker.

"Do not call me that!" I say.

"Whatever you say," Grantbus says and goes back to his mail.

"Oh my, oh my." mum says. "We'll leave tomorrow to get your things, here, give me your lists."

Once I give my list to mum I run upstairs to my bedroom. I grab some paper and write a quick letter to my friend-

Dear Tom,

I'm going to a new school this year. And no, you'll not be able to see me. I hope to see you before I leave. I'll be leaving tomorrow on a trip with my family. Maybe we could meet up tonight? Send a letter back with Midnight.

Yours Truly,

Autumn

"Midnight, take this letter to Tom for me," I say moving toward her cage. "He might want to send a letter back so wait until he's done."

"Hoot."

Midnight flies through the window clutching the letter in her claw. I look around my room. I better start packing some stuff I want to take.

As I pick up my glass doll that my Great-Grandfather had brought back with him from Venice, Italy, an owl swoops into my room. It is Rookwood's owl, Tony. Tony drops a letter on my head and flies back out the window.

Hey sis,

I don't know what to pack. And do we need Muggle clothes? Come to my room and help me, please.

Rookwood

*sigh* I look at my Quidditch posters hanging above my bed and make a mental note to pack them. On my way up to Rookwoods room, it starts to rain pretty hard.

I walk in without knocking. "Hey, you could at least knock," Rookwood complains as I enter through the door.

"Like I would do that." I say, "Yes you will need one or two outfits of muggle clothes. And for other stuff..." I gaze around his room. "Let's pack your Quidditch posters, Tony's things, but no you are not taking your Frog Spawn."

"But sis, I love my Frog Spawn."

"And you're not taking it. It's too messy and you won't need it. You just want it."

"Fine, I won't take my Frog Spawn. But what about our broomsticks?"

"First years aren't allowed to have broomsticks. We'd get in trouble and mum wouldn't be happy."

"I can't be separated from my broomstick that long."

"Neither can I but we're going to have to."
