Chapter 11

Georginas POV

My breathing was coming out in short quick gasps but it wasn't from running. I saw Melanie being thrown down one of the school halls. Her body lay there limp and unmoving I could barely make out her chest rising and falling ever so slightly. I ran over to her to check for anything to be healed, but just before I reached her I was being raised up in the air a few feet above the ground. I started looking around for the source of power. That's when I saw him, the telekinises, he was suspending me up in the air but only by his eyes which were covered by a shadow, this means he is a very powerful paranormal.

"What do you want!?" I yelled at the evil being standing infront of me. My arms were then twisted behind my back and I let out a whimper from the pain.

"You don't get to ask the questions, but since you asked, I need to finish the job I started 5 months ago, and by the looks of her I would say she will be gone in mmm 5 seconds, lets just make It quicker so I can be on my way and forget about the showalters, ruining my life" he flicked his wrist and Melanies body jerked and blood started to pool around her body. I felt the tears pouring down my face.

Then my body suddenly collided with the ground and I heard something snap. I heard the maniacs taunting laughter as he started to retreat. I looked down at myself and saw blood pouring out of numerous cuts and wounds all over my body. I tried to heal my self but it wasn't working it was as if it had been disabled. Then the hall infront of me had now turned into a battlefield as the good paranormals of St Catherines versed the evil paranormals. It was a horrific scene and when I thought I was going to pass out, a paranormals burnt and bloody hand landed next to me, almost as a warning and I started to uncontrolably scream.

Melanies POV

I was startled awake by a blood curdling scream coming from the bed next to me. I bolted up and ran over the Georginas side trying to wake her up from the awful nightmare she must be having.

"G wake up! You need to wake up!" I tried to yell over her screams of pain. Her eyes finally snapped open and she caught me off guard with a bone crushing hug, I hugged her back as she started crying into my shoulder.

"Hun you're going to have to tell me what happened in your dream" I said to her gentley as if any amount of sound could just make her snap and break down again. Her lower lip started to quiver as she started to explain.

"It wasn't a dream, it was too dominant it was a vision, but somehow the telekinesis was there talking to me and you...you were just lying there in a heap on the floor with blood pooling all around you" she was looking off into the distance as if she was there again, and she started crying again.

"What did he say to you? The telekinesis" I asked her firmly, I didn't want her to hold anything back from me, because after all, this has everything to do with me. She looked into my eyes and said in a shaky voice,

"He said that he has come back to finish the the job he started 5 months ago" her body started to shake so I layed her back down on her bed and wrapped the doona securely over her body.

I couldn't believe that my worst nightmare has come back to kill me, he wanted me dead just like my brother. I looked over to see Georgina fast asleep and I didn't think that she would be having another vision any time soon. I saw the bright green digits of my alarm clock informing me that it was 1am. There was no way of me getting back to sleep, since I was wide awake.

I grabbed a black hoodie and slipped it over my pyjamas which consisted of track pants and a long sleeved shirt. I started walking down the stairs not really paying attention to where I was going. When I looked up I saw that I had found my way to the kitchen which was huge. My stomach started to growl as if it had led me to where I was. I felt too stressed out to eat anything normal or essential so I grabbed a spoon and went into the large freezer where I found large tubs of every flavoured ice-cream you could possibly think of. I grabbed the chocolate chip peppermint flavored ice-cream and started feeding spoon fulls into my mouth. That's when I heard some movement from behind me and I whipped around pointing the spoon in the direction on the intruder. I found Jace standing there with bad bed hair and his own spoon. He chuckled at me when he took in my entire and bucket of ice-cream.

"Couldnt sleep either?" he said while scooping a spoonfull from my tub and shoving it in his mouth. I gave him a sly smile.

"No, Georgina woke up screaming bloody murder, she had a vision" I said while a shudder ran down my spine and it wasn't from the ice-cream.

"Do you want to tell me? Because that shudder didn't come from your body temperature" damn it I forgot the fire bending made him more sensitive to the cold. We walked over to a clean bench and sat on top of it, still eating the tub of ice-cream.

"Remember that telekinesis who killed my brother? He said that he's back to finish off the job, which is obviously to kill me, that's all Georgina told me before she fell asleep again" I wish that I was able to get more out of her, but she needed to sleep.

"Are you serious? Did she see his face?" Jace asked, while his eyes became the size of saucers.

"No she's out cold, she will be sleeping for a while" I said while I fed a bit of ice-cream to him.

"So why are you down here?" I asked him.

He just placed his hands on both sides of my face and started to lean towards me. Our lips met and we started off kissing slowly his breath was cold and tasted like peppermint. Then the kiss started to get intense, I had my hands tangled in his hair and his hands were moving up under my hoodie and top and over my waist, his hands felt cold but warm at the same time on my skin. His tongue traced my bottom lip asking for entrance which I gladly gave, our lips started immediatly dancing. The counter was very big so I pushed aside the tub of ice-cream and Jace laid me down while he was slightly on top of me and he began kissing my neck. I could feel the temperature begin to rise.

"I swear you're heating up the room" I sort of half said half moaned. I just heard him chuckle against my neck, as his answer.

Suddenly all the lights in the kitchen came to life. Jace quickly grabbed me and we flew up right until our bodies were pressed against the high ceiling. It was a student on the phone dressed in black but we couldn't see his face and his head was covered by a black beanie.

"No, I said that we won't do anything until she becomes more trusting and close to me" he quickly spoke these words into his mobile while walking around the kitchen, until he was standing directly below us and infront of the counter me and Jace were making out on only a few seconds ago.

"Im going to have to call you back" he hung up his phone and picked up something that was on the counter top. I tried to get a better look and saw that it was my hoodie, how the hell did that come off. I looked over at Jace with a questioning look on my face and his just gave me an innocent look. The guy who was still standing below us started to look around, but I still couldn't get a good look at his face. Just before he looked up Jace flew seriously fast with me in his arms through the door and up all the stairs until we reached my dorm, where he put me down.

"Holy shit that was close, did you manage to get a good look at his face?" I asked, why did I feel out of breath?

"No I couldn't see him properly, look I better go just in case one of the teachers are doing some night round making sure people arnt doing what we were doing before" he said with a devilish smile on his face.

"What ever, bye" I quickly gave him a kiss and made my way into my dorm. Georgina was still fast asleep in her bed.
