Chapter 8

It is finally Friday, and a school day. So as the day went by, I was getting more and more excited for the night and wanted for school to end. I've never been to a MANSION party so it's going to be an unforgettable night! I texted Jenny during the day to see if she wanted to get ready together at my house. We agreed and were ecstatic for the party.
As school ended, I went to put my books away in my locker. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, someone put their hands over my eyes. What the hell... I touched the hands, and they felt like a guy's hands so I automatically knew It Was Cole.
"Cole... I know it's you!" I screamed laughing.
"Damn! How'd you know!?" he asked amazed.
"Cole we've know each for like forever. I know when it's you."
"I guess I didn't think of that... Hey can I go to your house again today?"
Shit. I was getting ready for the party all day. He can't come over and see me getting ready. He'll want to know everything and he can't know about the party.
"Ummm... I'm going somewhere with my mom today, and it's kind of family stuff." I hated lying to him, but if I didn't I wouldn't be able to go to the party. No offense to him. "Maybe tomorrow?"
"Yeah... Alright that's fine." He said looking disappointed. "See you tomorrow then?"
"Yeah! See you mañana!" I said smiling, trying to lighten the mood.
I waited for him to leave the school before I started walking home. I almost ran home because of how excited I was. When I got home, I ran to my room and called Jenny to hurry so we can get ready. As I waited for Jenny to get to my house I jumped in the shower. When I got out of the shower Jenny was already in my room. She had a bag full of clothes and a makeup bag.
"Hey. Wow. Why so many clothes?" I asked.
"I want you to tell me what looks better! Obviously," she said while taking her clothes out. She had also brought a few pairs of shoes. She then took out an outfit and started to model it for me. She then tried on the new clothes we had gotten at the mall, which I thought looked so much better.
"That one! Damn! You're looking soo fine!" I laughed. She had gotten a light colored high waisted pair of shorts that made her butt look big and a tight, heart shaped strapless shirt that was bedazzled with rhinestones. I loved it.
Compared to what I was going to wear, she was a fashionista and I was a nobody. I took out the clothes I had bought. A flowery turquoise, peach, and mostly white pencil skirt, and a flowy peach colored shirt that was open from the back with a bow towards the bottom, right over my butt. It was cute. I blow dried my hair while Jenny went in my bathroom to take a shower. I curled my hair and when I started to do my makeup Jenny came out.
It was already 7:30 and the party started at eight. We had half an hour to go and Jenny hasn't even put on her clothes on yet.
"Hey at what time do you plan on going to the party?" I asked.
"When I'm done... Why?"
"Because you take forever! We'll probably be late..."
"Better late than never, I always say."
"You never even say that!"
"Now I am," she said with a smirk.
By the time she was finished it was 8:30. We quickly ran to my car, got in and started driving.

Jason's POV ♥

It's 8:30 PM and the house is already full. The song playing at the moment was "The Language" by Drake, and there were plenty of people on the dance floor. I was on the second floor looking at the people who were entering. I was waiting for Mia. I was thinking of her almost every night since the last time I saw her at dinner.
Then as if on cue, she came in through the door with a girl I assumed was the friend she was talking about, and damn did Mia look hot! She wasn't dressed overly dramatic like most girls, and she wasn't under dressed like other girls who showed too much of their body either. She was probably the prettiest girl in the whole party.
I walked down the stairs to go meet with her, and as I got to the last step she looked at me and we made eye contact. She smiled and I smiled back at her. She started walking over to me. Crap I was feeling nervous. I never felt nervous with a girl. I was always in charge and controlled. I was confused that when she had spoken, I hadn't heard her. Shit, act normal.
"Hey! I'm glad you made it!" I screamed, trying to talk over the music.
"Yeah! This is awesome! I've never been to a party like this!" she shouted back.
"I'll go get you a drink! Wait right here!" I said and walked towards the drinks table.

Mia's POV ♥

Holly shit! The party was huge! There were lights everywhere of every color. The music was booming loud, people were drinking and I remember seeing others smoking in the front. I saw alot of people I recognized from school, but they were too busy having fun I didn't say hi. Jason had gone to get us drinks so I just waited on the side watching people dance. Jenny had disappeared when I walked towards Jason. She was nowhere in sight.
Then all of a sudden I saw everyone loking towards the open doors. There were a group of girls walking in. They looked kind of scary. Their faces said "Mess with me and I'll kick your ass". Damn who were these girls?
As if the girl next to me could read my mind, she started to explain. "That group of girls, you wouldn't want to get into problems with... The one in the middle, her name is Molly. She's the party girl, she can get kind of crazy. You can say she's kind of like the leader. The girls behind her are Jessie and Brendiss, the two shorter ones. They might be short but they can get down, and then there's Jeniqua, she's like a bodyguard cuz everyone's scared of her, so don't go anywhere near her, or any of them unless they talk to you. Then there's Fern and Less, short for Leslie. They're all dangerous. If you do something they don't like they'll do whatever it takes to bring you down."
This seemed like a scene from a movie like "Mean Girls". Haha that was ridiculous. Well they did seem dangerous. I wasn't going to just go up to them and act like they were long lost friends. They walked right onto the dance floor where they owned the dance floor. They were all over each other, grinding and laughing with each other.
Next thing I knew Jason was already at my side with two drinks in his hands, one for me and one for him.
"Here you go," he said handing me the cup.
"Thanks," I said smiling.
"Hey, do you want to dance with me?" he said. I thought he'd never ask!
"Let's dance!" I screamed, excited, and grabbed his hand leading him onto the dance floor.
