I grabbed our drinks, and set them on a table near us. "Talk Dirty" by Jason DeRulo came on as we made our way to the dance floor. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me against his chest. As we danced I felt his hand get closer to my bottom. I got the shivers from feeling his touch against my bare back, from the opening of my shirt. During the whole dance we were eye to eye, almost nose to nose. I thought it was really cute. I noticed how he had a few freckles here and there on his nose, and when he smiled, his dimples were the most adorable thing I've ever seen. All I did was keep blushing. How embarrassing! He probably thought I was such a dork.
A slow song came on. I recognized it as "Say Something" by A Great Big World. I didn't really like slow songs, and I thought Jason wouldn't like to dance this music so I moved away, but he catched my hand and pressed me against his chest again.
"What? You don't want to dance with me anymore?" he asked, whispering in my ear.
"It's not that I don't want to," I whispered back. "I didn't think you were the type to dance slow songs."
"Well that's a shame. Now you can get to know me more. I actually like to dance any kind of music."
"That's surprising," I answered.
"Haha, yeah, I guess it is surprising, for a guy to like slow dances. But I'm not just any guy. I'm different," he says looking into my eyes.
"Oh sure you are," I said laughing to myself. "Every guy says that to a girl they just want to have sex with. I'm not fooled, and I'm not those type of girls. I respect myself and I don't just hook up with whatever guy tells me sweet things. I may not know who you are but then again I don't trust anyone who I don't know. So don't come to me with sweet persuasion, cuz I won't believe that crap."
"Unless you know me right? So get to know me. I don't want to hook up with you, even though it's tempting. But you're different, I can tell. I won't make a move, unless you do. I'll repect you and whatever you decide."
"Haha, you sound really mature. I know you're not though. You're a 'bad boy'. Don't think I don't know about you. Everyone at school spreads rumors about you. And they're all bad... I know you sweet talk girls into getting into bed with you, just for fun, and then leave them. Don't you ever think that maybe one of those girls actually liked you, and you hurt her feelings?"
"Every girl I've hooked up with are the same. They're looking for fun and I give it to them. No strings attached."
"Oh really?"
"Yes really. I don't do anything that will hurt anyone. Maybe one of the girls took it the wrong way and thought I might have actually liked her but I always explained to them that they shouldn't get too attached to me. That I wasn't looking for a relationship."
Unbelievable. I wasn't going to believe him... I couldn't. He was bad, and I didn't go for bad boys. I had actually just found out from the girl that was next to me while i waited for Jason to get us something to drink, that he was a player and was just looking for fun. I was pissed! He seemed so nice when I met him. He didn't look like the bad boy I had just heard about. I was willing to find out who he really was. Even if it meant I was going to get a broken heart.
"Well then let's find out," I finally said.
The song ended, and he led me up the stairs away from the party. There were barely any people at the top so it was peaceful. We got to a bedroom that was at the end of the hall.
"Make yourself at home."
I walked around his room noticing all the picture frames on his dresser. There were some of him and his parents and childhood pictures. Aww he looked super cute! He had many trophies as well. It seemed like he had been in every sport possible. He had a trophy for soccer, football, basketball, baseball, tennis, track, and even Water Polo.
"Damn! You were really active weren't you. "
"Still am," he said smiling. "I'm actually joining the soccer team at your school. Well our school."
"That's cool."
"Yeah... Are you in any sports?"
"No. I was going to join the girls soccer team, but it's complicated."
"What is?"
"Life," I said almost laughing.
"What's so funny?" he asked.
"You're asking questions about me, and life. Ha. I think it's funny."
"I just want to know more about you. Is that so bad?" he said, getting closer to me. Oh no he didn't. He thought getting closer to me would get me to like him. I was getting kind of sweaty and nervous though, so I walked to the other side of the room acting like if I were looking at more of his room. He was so spoiled. It seemed like he had everything he wanted. An X-Box, playstation, huge flat screen TV, laptop, and a whole bunch of other latest electronics.
"You're a spoiled brat aren't you?" I asked, getting one of his game controls.
"Excuse me! I am not spoiled. Now give me that, you might break it," he screamed trying to take the game controler away.
"Haha no I won't!" I said while running around the room trying to get away from him. I jumped on his bed and dodged him as best as I could. I couldn't stop laughing. He seriously looked scared that I was going to break it! He really was a spoiled brat.
I felt bad for him so I stopped to give it to him, but right when I stopped he came running right at me and tackled me onto the floor.
"Haha! Oh my god! You actually tackled me! What's wrong with you!?" I screamed jokingly. He held me against the floor staring at me for what felt like forever, but was only a few seconds. When he started to lean in for a kiss I used all my strength and pushed him off of me. Who does he think he is?! Taking advantage of me because I was on the floor, and he was ontop of me. Ugh. Boys.
