Chapter 29

Chloe walked up to Sandra at her locker, and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hey Jasen hasn't texted me back since that scene happened." Chloe said.

"Well if it makes you feel better Jay hasn't texted me back either."

"What's going on? Try to talk to Jay during your class with him, and I will try to talk to Jasen." Chloe said.

"I don't know, and I will try. See you later." Sandra said while walking away and towards her class.

"Hey, Jay," she said, sitting down beside him. He simply nodded. "Are you okay? You seem kinda quiet."

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"You sure?"

He nodded again, making Sandra huff in annoyance. She tried to talk quietly with him throughout class, but he continued to ignore her. Eventually, Sandra huffed in annoyance and turned to pay attention to what Mr. Pan was saying. The class seemed to last forever until the bell rang. Jay grabbed his bag and headed towards the door. Sandra groaned in annoyance and ran after him.

"Jay!" she called.

"I have to go, Sandra," he replied. "Bye."

He didn't even stop walking as he spoke. Sandra stared as he disappeared into the crowd of students.

"What the crap just happened?" she muttered.

"Hey Jasen!" Chloe said while walking behind him.

"Hi Chloe. I have to go."

"Wait why were you with another partner?"

"Because I wanted to take a break from being partners with you."

"What?" Chloe said while walking back to her dorm.

Chloe walks into the room to see Sandra on her bed doing homework.

"I'm guessing things didn't go well with Jay?" Chloe asked while walking over to Sandra.

"Really what gave you that impression?" Sandra asked in her sassy voice.

"Well if it makes you feel any better Jasen switched partners in my class with him."

"Chloe I am sorry this wouldn't have happened if I didn't send that stupid text to him."
"Yes it wouldn't have, but it's okay. He will eventually get over it, but my question is why isn't Jay talking to you?"

"Um maybe because it wouldn't be fair if just Jasen was mad at you, so he got Jay in on it."

-Knock- Knock-

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Sandra asked.

"Sandra calm down! Come in." Chloe said.

"Sorry to bother you guys, but what is going on between you and Jay?" Evie said while walking over to Sandra.

"Nothing. Why?"

"He is acting strange, and that is odd for him."

"Evie we don't know what is going on, but we might need you to help us figure out what."

"Okay. What do you want me to do?"
