Dee's POV

After that night, Trent and I have been closer than ever. We aren't together, but as close to it as could be. It was three days into the tour, and we just finished a show.

I climb down the stairs of the stage. Trent slides his arms around my waist and kisses my forehead, "You were great." I smiled at him and went to grab a bottle of water.

I'm scrolling through my phone and Jermaine comes up to me, "Hey, JD said there are a few fans that want to meet you." I nod and put my water bottle down, following him.

When we get to where the fans are, I see a line of about ten people. I smile and take pictures with them until they're all gone. We decide to go eat before heading back to the hotel. I grab Trent's hand and walk back to the car.

About 30 minutes later, we pull up at a restaurant and go inside to sit at a table. I'm looking down at my phone when they call our table.

After dinner, we're all just sitting around, talking and joking around. I'm looking down at my phone when I hear a voice, very childlike, "Hi, Deetranada? I'm a huge fan, can I have a picture?" I smile and look in the direction of the voice to see a little girl, "Aw, sure."

She lets go of the hand she was holding and I look up at meet the eyes of Darian.

I pause and look to Trent's chair, where he's missing. Thank God. He must be in the restroom. I try to ignore the fact that I'm ten feet from the boy who broke my heart. After taking the picture, I stand up and look at him, "What are you doing here?" I ask through clenched teeth. He pulls me aside, "I'm visiting my mom for the week. Chill. I don't understand why you still aren't talking to me." I roll my eyes, "What do you mean you don't know why? I think we both know why. You can leave now." I give his little sister a hug and go sit back at the table. "Where were you?" Trent asks. "Meeting a fan." He nods.

Later, at the hotel, I'm sitting on one of the bed, on my phone. Seeing Darian threw me off a bit, so I haven't talked much since. Trent comes back into the room and sits next to me on the bed, "You good?" he asks. I nod. He reaches over and locks my phone, "No, I mean are you really really good?" I look at him, "I'll be okay." He lifts my chin up, "So there is something wrong. Tell me, babygirl." I sigh, "At the restaurant. The fan I told you about? Th-That was Darian's little sister..." A flash of anger comes over his face, "So you saw him? Here? In Atlanta?" I nod, "Yeah, still shook. That's all, I promise." He looks at me to make eye contact again, "You know I'll always protect you no matter what, right? If you need me to handle it, I'll handle it," he says sternly. I shake my head, "It's all good."

That's the last thing I need.
