Dee's POV

Explore my options? I didn't want to explore my options...I only wanted him. Does he want me to explore my options? After that conversation, it became awkward. The air slowly got thicker. I'm glad Jermaine texted and asked if we wanted to meet for dinner. Definitely cleared the air.

Trent and I are back in the hotel room, getting ready for dinner. I get into the shower, immediately relieving stress. After I get out, I walk back into the room with my towel wrapped around me so I can get my clothes. Trent looks up from his phone, "Steamy?" I ignore his comment and go back into the bathroom to get dressed. Five minutes later, I come out of the bathroom and go to put my shoes on. He comes and sits next to me, "You okay?" he asks. I nod. Luckily, Jermaine walks into the room, "You guys ready to go?" We nod and leave the room.

At the restaurant, Trent and I are sitting across from Jermaine. Go figure. The waitress comes to get our drink orders, "Sprite, please," Jermaine says. She looks at me, "Um, I'll just have water." She nods and looks at Trent. She slows her words, "Anddd for you?" He looks up smiling, "A Coke, please." She smiles at him, "Sure thing." He winks at her before she walks away. I glare at him, but he doesn't notice.

After we're finished eating, and flirting in Trent's case, we're waiting on the check. I talk to Jermaine about the hip hop classes he taught today. The whole time, Trent is on his phone. The waitress comes back, giving Jermaine the check. While she's waiting on him to sign off and pay, she starts conversation with us. She points back and forth between us two, "You two talk?" she asks. I look at her, "No, we whisper. Mind your business," I say lowly. Trent hits my leg under the table. He chuckles, "No, we're just friends actually." I give him a blank stare and take that as my chance to get on my phone. Jermaine finishes paying, and it's time to leave. We walk out of the restaurant, me leading, and Trent lagging behind.

Jermaine went to a meeting with JD, leaving us in the room. I sit on the bed, scrolling through Instagram. Trent is over on the other bed, laughing away at his phone. I try and ignore him, but it's getting ridiculous. His phones rings, and he answers it, like he's mid-conversation. I slightly look over at him. He starts to laugh, then he hangs up playfully. I look at him, "Who's oh so funny?" He smirks at me, "Kayla, the waitress from tonight." I give him a confused look, but our conversation is interrupted by his phone ringing again. Of course, he answers it. I don't want to be around this. I get up and walk out of the hotel room, to a flight of stairs nearby. I just don't understand. All of those things he said to me, then tells people we're just friends. I don't get it.

He rushes up to me about five minutes later, "Dee, what's wrong?" I shake my head, "Nothing." He grabs my phone from me so that I can't be distracted. "So you know I can tell when you're lying right?" he asks. I raise my eyebrows and look away. "Are you seriously upset?" he asks. I look at him, "No I'm not upset, I just don't understand you. I really don't," I say sternly. He gives me a confused look. I sigh before continuing, "We're just friends?" He looks away then looks back at me, "Well, technically yes." I give him a glare, "How can you say that? That there are no feelings involved in this at all.." He sighs, "I'm not saying that, because trust me, there are feelings. But I already told you, being with me is only going to hurt you more, babygirl. That doesn't mean I don't have feelings for you." I stand up, "Apparently not." I walk back to the room.

Can't wait to go back to Baltimore after this.
