Dee's POV

The flight was pretty chill. We ended up at our next stop, Florida. We finally get to our hotel room and I get a text from JD saying we don't have a show until tomorrow night so we have the night free.

After getting into the hotel room, we put our things down and try and decide what we'd do for the rest of the day. Jermaine found a hip hop class opportunity so he was going to go assist teaching. I'm still a little tired so I lay on the opposite end of Trent and take a nap.

In what felt like a blink of an eye, I was being woken up, "Deeeeeeee...please wake up....I'm bored." I hear Trent's voice. I turn around and smile at him, "Aw , you're lonely?" He smirks, "Not anymore." I sit up and rub my eyes, "You just can't let me sleep in peace?" I ask. He fake pouts, "So you'd rather be sleeping?" I flick his lip with my index finger, "Pick your lip up, you'll be okay." He chuckles, "No bullshitting you, huh?" I shake my head. He grabs me and pulls me next to him. He pulls his phone out, "So what do you want to do today? Stay in? Go out?" he asks. I shrug, "It's up to you, it doesn't really matter." He thinks for a second, "Well, my mom's from here so we visit a lot, I think I know exactly where to take you. Go get dressed, something you won't be hot in." I smirk, "That'll be pretty hard." He nods and licks his lips, "It sure will be. Swimsuit underneath, okay?" I stop and look at him, "I don't swim. Swimming's not my thing." He sighs, "You're so stubborn, but okay, either way is fine." I smile in satisfaction.

Fifteen minutes later, we leave the hotel room. We walked hand in hand, considering I didn't know where we were going. He stops me in front of some palm trees, "Close your eyes." I give him a confused look, then close them. He grabs my hand and leads me in the direction that he's walking.

A few moments later, we reach a stopping point. "Okay, you can open them," Trent says. I open then to reveal a small beach behind a row of rocks. I look at him, "Is this private?" He shrugs, "I don't know, it's just where my mom and I would come a lot when I was little. Pretty huh?" I nod, "Very." We sit on the sand, with our heels in the water. He grabs my hand and I move closer to him and lean on his shoulder. He puts his arm around me and we sit like that for a while.

I hesitantly break the silence, "Trent, what are we?" He looks down at me, with furrowed eyebrows, "What do you mean?" he asks. I sigh, "Like what's our title? We aren't dating, but we aren't just friends either." He moves his arm from around me so that he can fully face me, "Dee, we don't need a title, we know what we are, and that's all that matters. All I know is you sure as hell aren't single." I chuckle, "Well technically I'm not dating anyone so I am single." He contemplates, "I guess you're right." I look back out into the sky, "That doesn't mean I want to be though." He looks at the ground, "I'm not gonna be the one to tie you down, explore your options, babe."
