Nothing Survives Without The Rain

Nightmare

One night,

You were beside me

And I was nestled

In your arms.

All was well,

Until I fell asleep.

Then everything went black

And you disappeared.

You were just gone,

No trace to be found,

But a disembodied scream

Of my name.

Repeating it over

And over.

I was frightened,

Until something happened

And the blackness cleared.

Then I felt you again,

Really there.

Really holding me,

And the nightmare

Was over.
