A/N: Hello my little chickens! Hope you enjoyed that last chapter! I'm really sorry that I haven't been updating recently but I've been on holiday and I've been doing exams so that's really to blame! Anyway! Let's get into the chapter. Enjoy!
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
This girl has got me running in circles. Literally.I was currently trying to find my way back to the place where Lauren told me to go so she could give me some clothes for the ball. However, I couldn't find it.
I even cleaned up for this. For her. Washed my hair, brushed it back so I looked at least somewhat decent.
My nose picked up the sweet scent of Lauren's vanilla perfume and it made my wolf yip in excitement.
She had to be close by now.
Following the scent, I turned up at the same place I said goodbye to Lauren yesterday only to be greeted with a black suit, a black mask with a few gold accents on it along with a note.
Walking up towards the formal clothes I picked up the note, reading it carefully.
(Y/N),
Sorry that I couldn't give you the clothes in person but my Dad was persistent that I meet the guests as they come into the castle.
I tried looking for a dress for you but there was only suits so...I hope you don't mind!
I can't wait to see you again and I'll see you at the ball.
Lauren xx
My heart skipped a beat once I noticed Lauren left kisses at the end of the note. It even made my wolf howl in pure joy.
'She left kisses! This has to mean something (Y/N)!' Nova, my wolf, spoke ecstatically towards me making me roll my eyes playfully towards her.
I'd have to admit, I felt the butterflies multiply by the second in my stomach when I thought more about the note. Shaking my head slightly, I stripped out of my clothes before putting on the smart looking suit.
More like stripping from my rags.
Once I put the suit on, I did my top button of the black shirt before doing the tie. I wasn't quite sure how to do it but I managed in the end.
I picked up the mask, putting it on before making my way towards the castle.
So much was running through my head.
'What if they can smell me, What if they catch me, what if I change?'
The 'what ifs' kept running through my mind as I walked up the stairs of the castle. I couldn't help but notice barely anybody was there.
'I must be late...'
Opening the door, I looked down at the masses of people in which danced, laughed and drank the night away. The sight made me smile slightly even though they were the people who wanted my kind dead.
Luckily, I didn't draw any attention from any of them by my entrance which I was glad for.
I began to make my way down the spiral of stairs, leading towards the crowd of people. As my feet planted down on the floor, I was quickly pulled into a room causing my eyes to widen in shock.
When I was in a red coated walled room, I looked around to see the person who brung me here. My breathing was calming down once I released it was Lauren but that didn't mean that my heart didn't stop beating rapidly at what she was wearing.
She looked beautiful...
She looked like a Goddess in her white dress but still looked like business with the jacket hanging from her shoulders. With her heels on, she was slightly taller than normal but still wasn't as tall as me.
Her hair was absolutely beautiful. No. Her whole body and face were perfection that it made my wolf howl in pure bliss at the sight.
"(Y/N)? You ok? I've been calling your name three times." She asked worriedly. Shaking my head to bring me out of my daze, I smiled warmly towards her.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine."
Nice going (Y/N). Just go and stutter in front of her.
"You look...wow. I never though you'd look good in a suit." Her eyes raked over my body a couple of times causing me to smirk slightly.
"However, you do need to sort your tie out..." She giggled, her hand covering her mouth as she got closer towards me.
A blush soon appeared on my cheeks when I noticed that Lauren was standing face to face with me as she sorted out my tie. I was silently praying that she wouldn't hear the loud thumps of my heart beat.
As she fixed my tie, I couldn't help but ingulf myself in her beauty. Her sea green eyes were full of peace and kindness while her hair told fierce dark stories. Almost a complete contrast to her eyes. However, it was a beautiful contrast.
Lauren pulled away from me, smiling up at me. I was kind of missing her coolness that radiated off from her now she was further away.
"There." She giggled slightly. The sound of her giggle made my wolf crazy. It was such a beautiful sound. I could have it on repeat for years and never get bored of it.
"Thank You..." I husked as I smiled warmly towards the shorter raven haired girl.
Lauren looked up at me and returned my warm smile with her own dazzling one, which made my wolf howl in joy at the sight. My wolf was urging me to take her hand, offer her my arm, just anything to get close to her.
Walking up to her, I offered her my arm as I gave her the most charming smile I could sum up.
"Shall we?" I husked lowly as I gestured towards the door that led to the dance floor and towards the masses of people. Lauren giggled as she took my arm and beamed up towards me with a bright, gleaming smile.
"We shall."
