Chapter 4: A soft voice

Rock Lee's POV:
We did everything we could to get her warm and comfortable until eventually she was curled up in my lap. Her wounds were all bandaged up and Neji even used some of Hinata's special medicine on her injuries. She was resting easily and we were waiting and hoping for her to wake up. It wouldn't be safe to carry her out in the cold asleep because she could freeze to death.
Tenten: "What if she never wakes up? What should we do then Guy sensei?"
This upset me, "She's not going to die Tenten, she's just tired and weak!" Guy sensei looked at me and nodded in approval. Tenten just sighed and Neji well he was being Neji. I looked down at her and stroked her hair gently. It was then that I saw her eyes flutter open through her mask and look up at me. 'They're the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. They're the color of tea. Wait that's weird Lee.' She looked up at me and reached up her hand to my face. She spoke "You're injured." I remembered the cut on my cheek from the icicle. Her voice was soft and caring, she was hurt far worse than I, she didn't even know me and yet her first concern was me. I felt a slight tingling and realized she was healing me. I blushed at this unexpected gesture.
Tenten: "Guy sensei she's awake!"
Tenten ran over to her and was followed by Guy sensei and Neji. They saw that she was healing me and were shocked.
Guy: "Thank you for healing my pupil! You're still weak though, so please take it easy. My name is Might Guy, these are my pupils: Neji Hyuga, Tenten, and Rock Lee."
She sat up slowly, she was obviously in pain but was trying to hide it. She stopped healing me and I felt that the wound was gone without even a scar. 'She's amazing'

Her POV:
Opening my eyes I saw a handsome boy about my age looking down at me. Looking up at him I noticed the cut on his cheek and commented on it. Out of habit I healed him without thinking about how it may embarrass him. 'Why am I doing this, he will be mad at me. What if he's an enemy? No, I should trust him. He smells nice. Snap out of it!' I heard a man talking and I looked over to him. They saved me, looks like I won't be joining you mommy. Please forgive me.
