Jessica, hi! I’d just like to start off by telling you that I am a serious fan of your story. You’re only a few chapters in though! So let’s get this started!
Starting off with your cover, I like it, especially the picture of Harry. I just don’t think it fits the title of your book! Where’s all the snow? Hey though, I don’t know what you’re planning for the plot and all. Your name could be a bit bigger, easier to read. Other than all that (which isn’t much), I think it works just fine!
Your sentence structure is fantastic. The way you switch up the types of sentences you use is great for the reader; it makes it more interesting to read. As you know, reading simple sentences over and over is boring. I didn’t spot many capitalization or punctuation errors, just a few random typos. It was nothing bad at all!
Onward to the story! Your introductions of the characters are slick, very smooth transitions on your behalf. Great job with that. The first chapter is by far my favorite, not being rude or degrading, it’s just great. Description is obviously one of your strong suits. Keep up the amazing work with the future chapters!
Everything considered, I think your story is definitely worth a 9.0, and I know that everyone that reads these will probably think I’m on some sort of nice streak. However, that’s not the case, not at all. Your work is great and your way with words is amazing. I hope you keep writing this, along with your other works. By the way your plot line is looking, this story is going to be a very big success. It’s original, something you don’t always see here. Thank you again for your request and please let me know what you think below. x
