Adelaide waited for her son to go down the enormous stage to personally kiss him and congratulates her son for the new achievement.

“My dear, Jarhead! Look at you. I thought you will never grow up from the bad boy I used to visit in the guidance office in middle school! And loo—“ The teary Adelaide was cut from her speech when Jared was simply looking at the child on her arms.

“Uhm… Jar-red, I want you to meet, Andy.. and-d” Adelaide introduced the child to her son. However, the staring contest between Jared and Andy lasted only for several minutes when they heard Emily purred.

“Jared baby, my friends from the dentistry school would like to meet you over there… please come with me baby” Emily spoke as she fondle the Jared’s doctor suit’s collar while tugging him towards the direction of her friends.

“No ‘excuse me’ Dr. Clark? I believe, my son and I are talking…” but before Adelaide could finish what she is saying, she just watched Jared being tugged by Emily.

Oh son, please change your mind before ending with the ludicrous dentist of yours. She just mentally talked to herself.

“Granny ma! If you feel tired of carrying me. May I just remind you that I can walk, I know I am heavy…” Andy told her.

“Of course, pumpkin” Adelaide bent down and placed Andy on his foot.

“I’ll just go to mom—“

“No, pumpkin, mommy is busily working on her report, we are going there later after her speech but for the meantime, let us do her a favor and not bother her, would that be okay, pumpkin?

“yes, Granny ma! Can I just go visit Aunt Erin?”

“Of course.” She watched as the boy vanished among the crowd. She still mentally noting herself that Andy looks like Jared when he was still on the same age as with Andy’s.

She almost jumped 6 meters on her feet like a scared-y cat when she heard the deep baritone familiar voice. When she turned around she saw him smirking. Jared Colton.

“J-j-jared C-colton, oh! Sorry, Dr. C-colton” she said.

He almost froze seeing Chartreuse Rogers at the back stage. He just came in the back stage to check for problems on the departmental reports, he did not expect Chartreuse to be here… to be this curvaceous… to be this beautiful… to be this tempting. But he has to keep his formal tone. “Dr. Rogers, why so frightened?” he asked.

‘Nothing, d-dr. C-colton, I was just dumbfounded from your instant presence.”

“Still with Shakespeare’s mouth, Dr. Rogers? Its Jared. Just call me Jared.” He smirked at her dumbfounded face. “and I believe it is still Chartreuse Rogers?”

“D-d, I mean Jared, what do you mean?” she asked, now looking even more twisted by the situation happening.

“Not married Dr. Rogers? Is it still righteous to call you Dr. Rogers?” His smirked grew even bigger because he is very sure of the answer.

“That is too personal Jared. I came here to work for myself and Andy, I am not here for any purposes. By the way, congratulations on having Colton’s.” with that she focused on her laptop.
