“And why do you have to send Andy by his own up here, you know the risk Erin, what has gotten in to your mind?” Chartreuse is literally fuming from anger during their discussion.

“for God’s sake, Chartreuse! Calm down, you just send Andy to the board room which is actually right behind this room and he can hear you! What more can happen?”

“what more can happen? Can you hear yourself Erin? It already happened, Jared talked to my child!”

“His child as well! Can’t you think straight for once? Did he even notice?”

“Jared is an intelligent doctor, for sure he noticed the features he get”

“Well, calm down, we have to work on this process” Erin said while calming her friend down.

Chartreuse wept until her eyes can’t produce any liquid out. She can’t even imagine that Jared will be taking Andy from her. She just prayed that Jared will never find out.

“Good thing you stopped, you have to relax from this situation.” Erin said while drinking her wine.

“how should I relax… wait relax? You’re putting me on something again right?”

“You can see the smile on my face! Darling!”

“I told you, I can’t! and I don’t like it”

“naaa, come on, you can’t hide from here! HAHAHA. I’ll see you tomorrow then at school for the summer class loads. Say, 10?”

“can I bring Andy in school?”

“Char, you know you can always do that, remember what Uncle Almighty Zac said?”

Chartreuse only nodded, she can very well remember how the two helped her throughout her life. “Thank you, she muttered in an almost whispered voice.

“Naaaa, Cha, no need. I don’t want to cry… You staying late? I’ll bring poor Andy home with me”

“yes, please, I need to finish the reports for ward 4 this time. Take care!”

Chartreuse looked at her watched and noticed that she has been working late enough for work, She packed her things and hurried out. The corridors is a bit dimmed with enough light illuminating the hospital. Few nurses waved goodbye before she went to the parking area. She tried to start her car, first and second attempt were failure.

She heard footsteps and seconds later, a tap on her shoulder, a familiar tap that sends chill to her bone and made her jump.

“Sorry, is there are problem?” Jared said while scratching the back of his head.

“nooooo, there’s… no.. no problem at all. Why?”

“Oh come on Dr. Rogers, I can hear and see that there is a problem on your car? Let me see.” She gently pushed Chartreuse out of his way not caring whether she will accept his offer,

Upon looking at the car, he can identify the problem right away. But his wicked mind have been functioning lately, he told otherwise. He needs to corner Chartreuse for a few questions.

“I can fix the problem, however, my tools aren’t in the car, it’s with the ignition.”

“I’ll just take a cab, thanks for the help Dr. Colton!”

He grabbed Chartreuse’s left arm and swung it forward until the woman almost touched him. “I’ll get you home, kitty.”

“excuse me, what did you call me?” Cha asked indifferently.

“Kitty? Is there a problem?”

“There is a problem Dr. Colton, because there are 3 reasons! First, I am not a cat! Second, I am not your slutty girl! And third! I am not slutty and I am not your girl to be called a kitty! Chartreuse is now fuming again in anger!
