Chapter 4

I stared blankly on the two red lines from the pregnancy test, how come I ended up like this with a chocolate drink… that Bailey’s they call it.

Instantly, I thought about what will happen to me, a year rom now, I will be graduating from college. Now, all my plans came crashing down.  But I have to make a decision. I have to. for my baby.

I sat at the bowl for good 10 minutes now, thinking what happened that night. No matter how I tried to recall it, it is only the morning after came back to my memory…

That morning I tried to open my eyes, I adjusted my eyes from the light from the curtains. I didn’t remember I took off my contacts. I am 100 % sure that I am not in my room. My phone suddenly rang…

“hello?” I asked. My voice still croaked from the morning rush. 

“where are you? Hello? Char? Where can I find you?” Erin nervously asked on the other line.

I stretched feeling sore all over my body especially on the southern part of my body. My hand felt warm as I feel the other side of the bed moving. I was shocked to see, Jared naked sleeping beside me.

“Hello? Chartreuse? Where are you? Please. Answer me? Are you still there? Look I am still inside the mansion and I am with Zac we are looking for you. Are you still here? where”

“Gracious! I want to go home. I don’t know what room I am in. please find me Erin.” I said almost bursting into tears.

“What happened, Char? She said she is in a room! But she doesn’t know which one” I assumed she is talking to Zac. “asked her to describe the room” Zac said over.

“the ceiling is high, the bed sheet and the cases are in light blue, and –and t-the ceiling and- and t-the w-walls are in dark-k b-blue, and somebody is sleeping b-beside me n-naked also” I can’t control my tears anymore as I said the last part seeing Jared sleeping soundly. And the line went out.

The door burst open and I saw Erin. I ran towards her wrapping myself on bed sheet as Erin escorted me out. She closed the door as she’s trying to help me get dressed.

“Dude, you have to wake up, you knocked somebody!” I heard Zac from outside the room  trying to wake up the slumber Jared. I am afraid that he will tell me who is the girl he had sex with, so I begged Erin to keep this from him.

“are you insane Chartreuse?” Erin whispered.

“Just do it please, please? Erin?” Erin just nodded as Zac came in the room again with ice cubes on a glass.

“We will” Zac answered as he look at me, then went inside, shutting the door. I heard a groan for Jared. “Guess what dude!”

“What?!” Jared asked lazily.

“you just stuck your junior to… Oh My Fudge! She’s a virgin? Dude, you just had sex with a virgin!”

“if that is Britney, maybe she is on her period, since she was literally throwing herself at me during the party”

“How can you explain the blood in the sheet? A period… that’s lame dude, and no, that is not Britney!!!”

That’s is all I need to hear before moving out of the mansion, dragging  Erin with me.

I stood up from the bowl. I look at myself in front of the mirror. I must be strong, not only for me, but for my little baby. I will be better. Away from here. Away from my little one’s father.
