Chapter 13: Who was it?

I picked up my phone and started to dial Dylan's number. He had sent me his number by message once and I never thought of calling him. I was afraid that he would be too busy to answer or that he would find it totally odd that a girl he barely knew, called him to feel better. But I wanted to hear his reassuring voice.

I suddenly heard a woman's voice from the other line, i'm sure that it wasn't Dylan. It was a girl.

And a girl that i didn't know. I could have recognized Holland's voice, shelley's crystal's ones too. But it was none of them.

I immediately ended the call. Who could it be? Does Dylan have a girlfriend? No, of course not it would be all over the news.

But then again, what if? Just what if he had a girlfriend and they were both keeping it as a secret? Or what if they were trying to keep their relationship as lowkey as possible?

I felt as if my chest was going to explode. And all i needed now was some chocolate, a couch, coffee and cigarettes, and a sad show to watch.
