One week later
Alex
After me and Justin kissed, I started to enjoy myself a lot better. I wasn't thinking about Ethan or a party until today. The actual day of the party. I knew there'd be lots of pictures on Instagram and videos on Snapchat. I was thinking of logging out of my social media but then I knew a part of me wanted to see what was going on and what Ethan was doing. Justin and I have been hanging out everyday, and although we didn't put a label on it, I'm pretty something's going on between us.
You up?
My phone lit up with a message from Justin.
Yeah
I replied.
Breakfast in 20?
I smiled before replied "definitely"
I'm so glad we kissed that day in the pool. I'm starting to develop lots of real feelings for this guy. My phone rang and Zoeys caller ID showed up. I answered, "Hey!"
"I need your help. Which color do I look better in, blue or pink?"
"Pink." I answered.
"Thanks." Zoey said letting out a sigh of relief, "I'm so nervous for tonight."
"You'll be fine. Hang out with Sean and his friends." I suggested.
"I don't fit in with Sean and his friends." Zoey complained.
"Look Zoe, don't stress so much, it'll be ok. It's a party, meet new people. I have to go but I'll text you later."
"Fine." Zoey said hanging up.
I didn't tell Zoey about me and Justin or what happened in the pool. I wanted to the night it happened, but I didn't know what it meant. Besides, she's got bigger problems.
I got ready and dressing leaving to go knock at Justin's door.
"Hey where you off to?" My mom asked coming out of her room.
"I'm just going to go to breakfast with Justin."
"Really? Your father and I were just about to go too."
I swallowed a huge lump that formed, "Really?"
"Yeah why don't we join you?"
"No."
"Sure." I heard from behind me. I turned to see Justin and I stared at him with wide eyes.
"I wouldn't mind if your parents joined us for breakfast. It'd be fun, right?"
"No not right." I whispered to him. He rolled my eyes as in saying stop being dramatic.
"Great. You guys go get a table we'll meet you in a few minutes." My mom said going back into their room.
I slapped Justin's stomach, "Why!"
"You met my parents why can't I meet yours."
"Justin my parents are no where near as nice as your parents are."
"Come on Alex it'll be fine."
"Justin." I said looking into his eyes, "This is going to be terrible."
He rolled his eyes grabbing my hand intertwining our fingers, "Once again, it'll be fine."

Justin and I sat at the table, sadly accompanied by my parents. I kept fidgeting I was so nervous. My parents mess everything up.
