Chapter 15

Today I was going to see my parents! Yay! Its been a month since the day I came here and Damian has been really nice. We got to know each other and just chill like friends. Except for the fact that I have this little crush on him. He's hot okay? And he has a nice personality. The only time were not hanging out is when he has to....um, drink blood or do prince stuff.

I had on a pink crop top and white jeans with a pink and white sneakers. I put on a black jacket and the bracelet Maria gave me. I put my phone in my back pocket with my headphones attached to it. My hair was out, my highlight hanging at one side of my face while the rest was tucked behind my ear.

"Jules, u ready to go?" Damian said from behind the door, knocking twice. "Yeah, I'm coming." I said, picking up a black purse and walking out. Of course I have no makeup on, other than a darkish pink lipstick.I opened the door and greeted him with a smile. "Morning."

"Mornin. Sleep well?" He asked, as we walked down the hall. I nodded and returned the question, him replying with a lazy 'yeah'

He carried me to the front of the mansion, were his car was waiting. It was a sexy dark blue KIA parked up. "My god this car is my new love." I said, loving it. Damian shook his head laughing and opened the door for me.

As we neared the barrier, I felt the uneasy feeling I had when I first crossed it. And there it was. A wave of nausea hit me and I covered my mouth, breathing heavy, until we were completely past the barrier. "Julia, you okay?" Damian asked, slowing down the car. "Yeah, don't worry about it." I reassured him. His look lingered a while, before he started driving off again with a little speed. Why is this happening to me?

About two hours of driving, I started getting hungry, thankfully we were near the house I use to in.

When the car stopped, I almost immediately tried to open the door, but failed. Damian locked the door and smirked at me. "Aww c'mon." I whined, pouting. "Forgive me for being so bold, but you have to kiss me to get out." He said, making me blush from head to toe.

"I have to.....k-kiss you?" I stuttered, blinking my eyes. "You think I don't know about your crush on me. I overheard your conversation at the party a month ago, and noted your jealousy when you saw how close Cassy was to me." He said, coming close to me. "Oh my, what's with the change of personality?" I said softly, ignoring the fact that he was easedropping on the conversation.  "Who said it's a change? I just don't show it." He cupped my cheek and came closer to me.

I pecked his cheek and unlocked my own door. "I'm hungry so- ugh, Damn it...." I was going to open the door but he just sat back and laughed, opening his side of the door and getting out, leaving me inside the car with child lock on my door. I glared as he crossed in front the car and opened my door. He was smiling. "I only knew you were going to do that. You should have seen how red you were." He said, making way for me to get out.

"Your annoying." I said, making my way to the door. "You're only gonna say that now." He said, hands in his pocket. The door opened and I could see My mother's chocolate brown eyes come to life. "JULIA!" She squealed and hugged me. I felt as is she could crush my bones. "Can't....breath...." I managed to make out, and of course Damian chuckle behind me. My mom let me go and looked at him.
"U-um..." she started. Her eyes looked unreadable now.

"Mom, this is my friend Damian." I said. He raised a brow at me and I rolled my eyes. "I'm your fiance. The prince of vampires. The one you have chosen to marry. And you call me your friend?" He said, folding his arms. "Mom, who's at the door- Julia?" Carlos said, coming down the stairs in his shorts. Lucinda was at his side with one of his gray jerseys on her like a short dress. They both looked sleepy before they saw me. "Omg! We've missed you so much." Lucy said, coming up to me and hugging me. She turned to Damian. "And look who it is, Prince Damian." Lucy smirked. When she realized what she had said, her eyes widened.
