Chapter 16

Damian's pov.

When I saw how Julie reacted to the barrier, starting getting suspicious but I didn't ask any questions. She smelled nothing like a werewolf, well...She kinda has my sent on her now but before she never did. And her blood taste sweet too.

Flashback.

Dixie, Julia and I were in the training room. Dixie was bent on training Julia and from what happened to mom, I'd agree with her. Dixie hit the sword out of Julia's hand and cut her cheek. "You loose." Dixie said, putting the sword away. I walked over to Julia and shook my head. "Wow...your taller and have the advantage. And you still lost." I said, making her pout. Her cheek was bleeding but it wasn't a bad cut. "I can't believe she actually cut you." I said, taking her chin in my hand and moving her head to the side. I licked the blood off and the cut started healing slowly. "W-why did you..." she stuttered, blushing. God her blood tastes good. It had this taste to it that I didn't understand though, it wasn't tasting fully like human blood. I shook my thoughts away because she smelled like human perfectly enough.

End of Flashback.

I wander what her lips taste.. wait, what the hell am I saying? I mentally scolded myself and focused on driving.

When we reached the house, I teased her a bit, not expecting her to actually kiss me on my cheek. Then when she tried to escape, she realized that when I opened the door for her earlier, I put child lock on. It was honestly funny and cute to see her finally give up because for a second I thought she was going to try and wind down the window and open it for herself.

Being asked a lot of questions was tiering but I dealt with it. And Lucinda and I caught up with each other.

"Oh yes, there's one thing I'd like to tell you before you leave Julie." Carlos said, walking up to Lucy and taking her hand. "Lucy and I are going to get married." He said, making Julia's jaw drop. "Lucinda is actually going to get married? Oh they for up so fast." I said, making Lucy give me a flat look. "I'm 22 and getting married, your 23 and can't find a girlfriend." She said, making Carlos and Julia laugh.

"You know what, before you two start something......we have some kids to check up on." Julia said in between laughing. I sighed and put my hands in my pocket. "Lucy will always be the best of the best. Just like her mother." I said, walking out. Yeah, Lucy's mother and I were friends, but she's growing old while I'm here being a vampire and not ageing. "I'd love to have grand kids from both my children you know." Mrs. Tanner popped up, making Julia and Lucy sweatdrop "mom, I'm eighteen." Julie said and her mother laughed. "I know sweetie. I'm just saying. Anyway, goodbye. I'd be looking forward to seeing you again. And Damian, next time being your sister. I'd like to meet her." I noticed Julia looking at her mother curiously, like she was an actor on stage..

When we were nearing the barrier, I slowed the car, until I came to a full stop. I could hear Julia's heart beat a little faster and I looked at her. "Jules, are you okay?" I asked, really worried cause this happened the first time. "Yeah, I think." She said, "I just feel a little sick. This same thing happened when I first came here too, I don't know why..."

The only people who are affected by the barrier are werewolves...."Julia...is anyone in your family...... a werewolf?" I said, saying that word with venom. "No....I don't think so. Wouldn't I have been one?" She asked, unsure. "Uh, your right....yeah.." I said shaking off the strange feeling I had. And there it was, not as bad as the first time but she felt it. I could see that it was clearly the barrier affecting her.

If she's a werewolf.....I don't know what I'll do.....what will I tell Dixie. The girl who loves her as much as she loves me. What will I tell dad....He might have her and her family killed. But why do I care?.... that's it, I'm clearly in love with her, I think. I don't want her to end up like my mother....She means too much to me. Sorry Dixie, you might hate me if I do this.

When we got to the mansion, I let her out and she hopped out looking way better than she was a while ago. "Thank you so much for today Damian, how can I repay you?" She said as we walked back to her room. When she opened the door, I walked in and closed it, locking it. "Damian?" She asked, as a walked up to her. Damian, c'mon, what the shell are you doing. Tell her your Fed up with her or something.

For some reason, instead of saying what I should have, I pushed her against the wall and smashed my lips on hers. At first she was shocked, then the slowly kissed back, her arms wrapping around my neck. I deepened the kiss and my hands to her waist. I could hear her heart beating faster and it pleased me. Damn it you idiot, get off of her! Didn't you see what the barrier did to her. But I couldn't stop. I reluctantly pulled away from her to breathe and rested my forehead on hers.

"That was...unexpected." She sighed, trying to catch her breath. I passed my hands from her waist along her sides then back down again, my touch making her shiver. I enjoyed the effect I had on her, which is exactly why this had to stop. But I didn't want it to. "I haven't eaten. I should go and-" I said, trying to escape. "It's okay. Y-you can have some of my blood if you want. Since I'm not going to turn into a vampire or anything." She said, as red as a tomato. I cupped her cheek with one hand, my other still on her bare skin. "Are you sure you want to do that?" I whispered in her ear, making her bite her lip and nod. This girl just makes me want her more.

I smirked at tilted her head to the side, licking her neck. I Kissed her softly before bringing out my fangs and sinking it in her. As her sweet blood flowed in my mouth, I only wanted more. But I couldn't have that.

I pulled away from her and looked at her. She sighed and smiled. "Yay, I'm not dead." She said. She was still against the wall and looked so vulnerable under me. I shook my head. "There's something I need to tell you." I sighed.

From the look on her face, I could tell she knew it was something bad. The way she looked at me now had me shake away anything I was going to say. "It's nothing." I said and pressed my lips against her, taking off her jacket. Her arms were now pinned down at the side of her head and I was kissing her neck, enjoying her soft moans.
