laying back, i stared up at the sky. It was a orange-pink. The wind was blowing the leaves off the tree, along with its flowers. "Princess. I am prince Ash. It's a pleasure to be acquainted on this fine night." Said a man, tall and handsome. "Prince....Ash?"
I got up, and he was gone. I looked around me and saw a rose and a letter. 'See you tonight beautiful' it said, and I picked up the rose, picking my finger in it's thorns.

Opening my eyes and sitting up, I looked down at my fingers. They were bleeding. There sat a rose in a glass jar in the middle of the empty table....my blood on it's thorns, dripping into the water.

I held my head. Eat first, worry later. I thought, pushing off the covers and walking off to my closet. When i returned...the rose was looking...silver like? I took it out of the water, and a tried to study it, but the silvery colour quickly faded, leaving me with an ordinary rose. I rolled my eyes, staring at the blood coloured water, and felt as if something was wrong.

Throwing the rose back, i left the room, seeing a glimmer of silver again.

"Good morning Kayla!" Jack said, rushing down a bowel of cereal. Kaylum nodded my way and pressed a button on a timer he was holding. "5 bowels in 15 minutes. That's good. Now run it off!" Kaylum said, and Jack immediately got up and dashed out the room after saying a quick 'Goodbye Kayla' to me, Kaylun following behind him.

I laughed. "You're only doing this to toughen him up. aren't you brother?" i said out loude, and he poked his head back in the room a few seconds after. "You know me like the back of your hand." He said, and ran off. I laughed to myself. A kind of cold hearted laughter, that sends chills down your spine.

Opening the fridge, a saw the nutella my mother abandoned, and pulled it out with some bread. "I'll be taking that." Said a voice, taking the sweet, beautiful, chocolaty goodness from my hand. "Give it back or i'll play football with you-know-what." I said, turning around to see Iven, leaning against the island with the nutella. "My you-know-what?" He raised an eyebrow, then laughed, standing up straight. I had to look up when i was this close to him. "Fine. I'll eat something else then." He said, handing me the plastic jar and going through the cupboards.

I sat on the counter, eating a nutella sandwich, and looking at Iven struggle for sum to eat. "Babe. Are we really going down there? He might attack you." Malik said, moving in between my legs. He licked off the chocolate from my lip and i giggled. "Yes Malik, and nothing you say is going to change my mind." I said, kissing his forehead. "Morning to you both by the way." Iven said, and i remembered he was here.

"Baby, can i kill him?" Malik asked, his lips against my cheek. "We can offer him to the demons as a peace treaty." I said, and Iven started sweating. "I'll be going now." "But what about breakfast." "You'll leave the kitchen soon." He said, and i laughed.

When he shut the door, Malik looked me straight in the eye. "You look tried." He said, and I shrugged. "I'm just hungry" I whispered, kissing his neck. He hesitated, and I frowned. "Your blood is like a drug. It's like nothing I've tasted before." I admitted, licking my lips. My eyes widened when I said that....why the hell would I say that?

"So it's already happening..." he said to himself, and I felt his body tense. I looked at him confused and he tilted his neck. "Go ahead." He said, focusing on my fangs. His eyes were emptied of all emotions. I smiled. I didn't control my body. I couldn't. I bit down, hard...the taste of his blood instantly made me hunger. I'm going to kill him!

I pulled away, a bit to fast, and accidentally hurt him. "Oh my god, Malik, I'm sorry!" I said, hoping off the counter and putting my hand over the bite.

Malik's Pov

She didn't know this....but every time she bites me...her eyes are lined with red. A blood red. Every year , it grows....and today....the night of the full moon....only a few months away from her 18th birthday....they were almost there.....the evil that was consuming her.

I felt a bit weak. "I'm fine." I said, and she removed her hand from my neck. My wound healed, but her hands where bloody. "Mal, I overdid it! I'm sorry." She looked so worried. So concerned for someone who's going to....."Gah!" I put both of my hands on my head and yelled, sinking to the floor. "Kayla, I'm fine." I said a bit too roughly, but when I looked up, her eyes where back to normal, now glassy with tears.

I took a deep breath and sighed. "You're too good to rule." I said, regretting it when I saw her reaction.
I closed my eyes and walked past her, walking out of the kitchen. She just stood there.
