One week later

The big day has come. Eva's mother would finally face the truth. Just the fact that she would be able to listen, but not talk at all was nerve wracking. But she couldn't do anything, so she just waited. Her mother had understood that something was bothering her little daughter, but decided on letting her enough space to think. She would eventually go and tell her. Or that's what she thought... Eva was sitting at the edge of her bed, when the door bell rang. She knew who it was, so she didn't offer to answer the door as she normally would have. She simply went and opened the door of her bedroom, so not to lose a single word of what was about to be said. By the time she was seated again, it started... She heard her mother's surprise, anger, protest and denial. Shortly after, the tone of her voice had calmed down. Did she accept it so easily? Eva would never have imagined that. I knew she loves me and that she wants all the best for me, but I could never imagine she was to accept something she feared and even denied its existence, so easily... And all this, just for me... She is willing to accept me the way I am and the world I belong to... She wants to know about this world, just to help me and be by my side at every moment and every cost... She is such an amazing person and I'm blessed she is my mother... Eva thought to herself. Just when tears started forming in her eyes, she heard her mother calling her name. She ran down the stairs as fast as she could and threw herself in her mother's embrace at the instant. After calming down, they started chatting about it.

"Thank you mom!" Eva was the first to speak

"You were listening, weren't you?" her mother asked

"Um... Well... Um... Yeah..." She answered innocently

" I was the one to make her. It was the only way she wouldn't interfere, but at the same time, she would know exactly what happened." Heluna smiled

"Even if I never had good relations with magic, I am willing to learn everything I can to help you." Eva's mother said earnestly

"Thank you mum, I really appreciate that." Eva said with tears and in her eyes

"Why are you crying now? Everything is perfect. Way better than expected!" Heluna said

"I know, they are tears of happiness..." Eva explained

"So... We don't have time to lose. We should be going to Diagon Alley to get your school stuff little girl!" Heluna said happily

"Just tell me you will return after that. I'm not ready to lose you for the whole year yet!" Eva's mother whispered with a shaking voice

"Noooo! Classes start at September 1st, we have some time left, don't worry! I'll bring her back!" Heluna chuckled

"Okay then, I'll be waiting. Good luck!" Eva's mother replied and kissed the little girl in the forehead

"Bye mum!" Eva said happily
