Chapter 13

"Miss de la Rosa, I think it's time you get to sleep. It is already past curfew and I guess the potion I gave you will start wearing off little by little."

"Now that you mention it I cannot really feel my haaaaaaa-nds..." Eva whispered the last bit of the word after looking at her once again swollen and bright red hands Perfect...

"It's only normal. I told you myself, those potions do not have great effect. But don't worry, by the end of the week the antidote will be ready. I'll get you one more potion for the night, so that you can rest easily." he said walking towards his office, while at the same time snapping his fingers to call Ruby

With a small 'pop' the elf appeared in front of Eva and started gathering the plates

"Did miss de la Rosa enjoy her meal? Is there anything else I can do for miss de la Rosa?" she asked with her chirpy voice

"Everything was very nice, thank you very much! No, not really... Apart from calling me Eva please?" the little girl smiled

"Ruby could never! That is disrespectful!" she raised her voice slightly moving one hand to her chest

"What happened here?" Snape appeared at the doorway holding two vials

Ruby took a deep bow "Master Snape. Ruby just told miss de la Rosa it is disrespectful to use firs names!"

"Hmmm... What if you used something in the middle? Like the word 'miss' before her first name?"

"If this is a wish or order from Master Snape then alright." Ruby said bowing again

"Still better than the first one!" Eva smiled

"Okay, Master Snape, miss Eva, Ruby has to go now. Goodnight!"

"Goodnight Ruby! Once again thanks for everything!" Eva said smiling

"Goodnight Ruby." Snape replied to the elf, which with another bow yet, followed by a 'pop' disappeared once again

"I brought you the 'Dreamless Sleep' potion as well, because that poison can bring nightmares as well." he informed the girl while handing her the vials

"Thank you very much!" she smiled at him and drank both potions before lying back in bed under her covers

"Goodnight professor!" she said with a small yawn

"Aren't you afraid?" he asked her looking in her eyes

"Afraid of what?"

"Of the dungeon's bat" he answered with an unpleasant smirk playing in his lips

"THERE IS A BAT IN THE DUNGEONS?!" Eva screamed sitting up like a bolt of lightning had just hit her

Snape couldn't help himself and covered a small chuckle with a cough looking at the terrified small girl
"No no, calm down, I mean me. I know everyone calls me that and many others not that polite." he explained

"Oh...." with a heavy sigh and a racing heart Eva lied down once again "First of all not EVERYONE calls you all those names. And no, I am not afraid of you. On the contrary, I admire you."

"Admire me? I was with the bad guy in the war. And I have committed crimes during both wars." he asked bewildered

"Yes, admire you. Well, have you ever forced yourself on anyone?" she asked back looking at him straight in the eye

"You mean..?" his voice was lower than normal

"Yes. I mean violate someone. 'Rape' if you want me to use the most common word." Eva explained
