At that moment there was a knock on the door, and Snape went to see who it was. Eva with pleasure saw that it was her two friends who came to check on her

"How is she? Can we talk to her? Will you let us in?" she heard Aristea's voice from the doorway

Moments later they had entered the room and Snape decided to give them some space to talk, so he went back to his office.

"Are you okay? How are you feeling? Any worse, any better? Anything we could do for you?" Athena asked

"I'm alright, I'm feeling tired, worse in terms of strength and better in terms of pain. And just the fact that you are here is more than enough. What about you though?" Eva smiled

"Well, we finished studying and are about to go to the Great Hall for dinner. You cannot come with us, right?" Aristea asked with a sad voice

"Unfortunately not... If Dumbledore says something important please let me know... I will have dinner here. A small house elf brought all these, look!" she answered, being more excited in her last sentence

"They look very yummy truth be told. But... aren't you afraid?" Athena asked lowering her voice

"No. Well, I mean at least I hope I won't die till the end of the year, but ya, it's fine." Eva answered naturally

"Iiiiii didn't mean exactly that... I meant-"

"I know. But honestly that's the only thing I am afraid of right now." Eva cut her before she could continue

Athena sighed and turned to Aristea "I'm sorry... It's just that..."

"It's fine, you're not the first person like that I encounter, I've gotten used to it. But honestly he is a really nice person, and very caring as well. He may not show it as you'd expect it, but he still tries." Aristea answered when her friend found it difficult to continue

And Eva smiled to herself, knowing that she had seen that care her friend was talking about in her professors eyes. She chose to change the subject to lift the mood up a bit

"Look, when I get all healthy again, we are gonna do that group studying in the library thingie together! Did it work for you two today?"

"It did, but we were thinking of you and it was hard to concentrate..." Aristea admitted

"Well, you don't have to worry about me, as you see I'm perfectly fine and I don't think they'll try to kill me or whatever while I'm here! So from now on try to concentrate as much as possible cause when I get back to classes I will have many questions mind you!" Eva smiled encouragingly

"Alright, alright, we'll try..." Athena replied

"So isn't it time you get going? You know time is running!" Eva pointed at the clock on the wall

"Oh my! I did not realize how quickly time passed... And yeah, we should get going..." Aristea said

"Most probably we won't be able to come back after dinner because of the curfew, so we'll see you tomorrow, alright? And of course even till then, we'll be here for anything you may need, okay? Just give us a notice and we'll be by your side." Athena continued

"Alright girls, I hope you have a good appetite, and then a good night and sweet dreams!" Eva smiled

"You too!" the other two girls replied in unison before leaving the room

Shortly after she was left alone, Eva did not have much appetite and thought it would be nice to have someone to talk to. Even if she felt that way, she was also too shy to call either her potions' master or the little elf. So she just let it go and sat alone in her own thoughts. After a while though, she started getting more and more lonely in the room, being unable to get up and explore it, or generally do something more productive. So she made up her mind, and after a sigh, collecting her courage she spoke
