Her emotions were indescribable. Awe, excitement, fear, sadness, happiness, reluctance, determination, were some of them. All of them felt deeply in her heart, and all of them being contradictory to each other.

"Is that it? My new school bus?" she asked smiling awkwardly, trying to start a conversation

"Sure it is! The wide and well-known Hogwarts Express!" Heluna replied smiling

"So, that means I already have to go?" Eva continued

"When they call for the first years, well, yeah, you should." Kakashi winked

Shortly after, a loud voice started calling:
"All first years gather up! First years in here!" and Eva soon realized that the voice belonged to a half giant, who even being taller than anyone in there, had the most welcoming smile.

"Is that Rubeus Hagrid?" she asked

"Yes, that's him. He is very nice and all, but you should get going anyway so that you can easily find a seat." Heluna replied

"Okay, okay... If that's what I'm supposed to do, that's what I'm gonna do." Eva said with a sigh

"Oooooh, come on now!! Don't give me that face! Come on, give me a hug." Heluna said, opening her arms
Eva immediately hugged her cousin tightly.
After a while, Kakashi jumped slightly while half-shouting:
"Group huuuuuuuuug!!!!!" and he hugged the two girls at the same time.
When they pulled out of the hug, both girls had tears in their eyes, but neither allowed them to fall. They smiled at each other, and Heluna urged Eva to go

"You're gonna be late now, hurry up little girl!" she said

"Okay, okay, I'm going!" Eva replied

"Good luck my sweetie!" Heluna said before kissing the little girl's forehead

"Good luck little warrior!" Kakashi winked and hugged the little girl softly

"Thank you! And now that I'm going don't disappear, okay?" Eva said while taking her leave

"Don't worry, we won't!" the couple said in unison while smiling at the little girl

Right before Eva entered the train, they waved at each other for one last time.

Even if she was one of the last ones to enter – all because of that little chit-chat before her departure –, luckily, she found a carriage that was completely vacant to her surprise. She chose to sit beside the window, so that she would be able to admire the view. Shortly after, a bunch of kids her age entered the carriage and sat down, not paying any attention to her. When the old lady with the treats came though, they could do no other than turn to look at her, when she mentioned that she couldn't buy something at the moment, because she only had muggle money on her.

"Muggle money?" asked one of the girls curiously

"Yeah, all my other money are in my luggage. I didn't think I would need it in the train." Eva replied

"Um, are you any kind of mudblood or something?" the girl asked once again, this time ironically

"If you mean muggleborn, then yes, that's what I am. Plus, even if I haven't lived in the wizarding world so far, I know the word you used is an insult. And let me tell you that, it's not so nice for your image to use it against someone, even more when you just met them." Eva said glaring at the girl, while hiding her hurt

"Haha! Just like I'm gonna listen to your random ranting." The girl rolled her eyes and laughed mockingly. Then, she turned to her friends and said:
"Come on girls, let's go elsewhere. We have nothing to do in here. Not that we want to be seen, or even worse, thought to hang out with THAT!" she said eyeing Eva disparagingly from the top to the bottom.
After that, the whole group of friends took their leave, leaving Eva once again alone in the carriage.
