10 yrs back...
Work was finally over. It wasn't as easy as people said, but Tgey thought of money and change usually kept me going... I didn't want that for my daughter though.  My phone rings...speak of the devil. "Hello darling." I hear her sign with relief.

After I promised her I would be leaving soon I think I see a shadow from behind, but it's raining and I stand outside the office building waiting for Jonathan to bring the car.

"Where the he'll is he?" I suddenly hear a noise and realise I am still talking on the phone. "I have to go darling, I love you bye". I'm bearing listening but I do hear she say she loved me and that was enough. I have to admit I was getting a little nervous from this noise and anxious to get home.

Suddenly I hear a voice from behind me ,"It's a good you said goodbye to her because that was the last time she'll hear your voice."
