Paige's POV
The papers pay out in front of me, and I feel a headache coming. I reach over and look at the autopsy report once again. I was sure I was missing something. But what?
Dad had been strangled to death, with his own tie. Did that mean the killer wasn't prepared, or had he attacked last minute. Was it just a normal robbery gone wrong? So much questions, with only one answer needed.
There was blood on the ground near where dad was lying, but it wasn't his. The killers? Or was there a second victim that was hidden elsewhere? I groan. Looking through all this information just makes me more frustrated and gives me more questions unanswered. I need a break, and the only place I could get it was at Cup 'O Joes.
My mind was clearly still on the case, but I didn't realise that until I realised I wasn't going to Cup 'O Joes'. No. I was going to place where it all happened. My father's crime scene.
