I watched as Paige walked out of my office and as soon as she did, I called Joey. He answered after the third ring, "What's going on? You said you wouldn't call unless it was urgent. "

"This is urgent. I need you to get some information on a female, round about the age 20 to 23 named Paige. "

"Paige? Know her last name?" There was something off about his voice that sounded strange.

"No, not at this point. " I answered.
"Alright Jones, what do I do with the information, do some sick job or something? " He said and I could hear a hint of disgust in his voice, showing he didn't really enjoy the job he had.Oh well, can't be helped.

"Not this time, just bring the information to my house, not my office to avoid suspicion. Get it as soon as you can. " I commanded.
He sighed,  "Sure thing, Jones. " I put the phone down. This Paige girl had no Idea what she was in for.

*Paige POV*
After placing an appointment at the front desk. I left the building as I had come in, clueless.

I had to admit I missed Adrian like crazy, at times like these he would offer useful advice, but of cause like every other male in my life right now, he was gone.

Suddenly my cellphone rang and when I saw who it was, I swear I could have burst into song if there wasn't so many people looking at me already as I was l letting out squeals of excitement. I calmed myself, quickly before I tried to sound calm while answering.

"Hey stranger." I said. He let out his cute chuckle, making me smile, "I guess I have been, sorry about that. I've just been very busy with my studies and I didn't want to seem distracted when I talk to you."

So that's why he was so distracted. He probably had so much pressure from work without me having to tell him and my sad and clueless life.

"That's okay, " I said, "will you be able to make it tomorrow? I'll pay. " At this I could practically hear him grin, "When you put it like that, I don't think I can pass."

I laughed, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." Usually when ending a call with someone close to me, like Meg, my aunt or Jonathan, I'd say 'I Iove you' but I honestly didn't know what I was feeling towards Adrian.

I didn't have to think too much into it when he said, "I look forward to it. I'll see you later, bye." Before he hung up.
