After school

"hey Andy how was the rest of your day?" I asked while kissing him for awhile

"fine " he said quickly trying to kiss me again.

"so are you ready? it could get intense." I teased him

"yep I want them to know I'm not leaving."

"thanks." I whispered. my shyness took over me.

"hey you don't have to be shy around me you know that." he said grabbing my wrist.

Ponyboys POV

I walked out of school and immediately saw Annabeth and Andy. He had he wrist and she had that look like she was going to cry.

"stop. Don't touch her." I yelled breaking his grip and threw him to the ground.

"Ponyboy?" Annabeth questioned

"Come on." I said to her but she was on the ground helpping Andy up.

"what the hell pony I thought you were cool with us ." she said which hit me hard.

"I was until I thought he was hurting you."

"Man why would I be hurting her?" Andy asked

"shes my sister and I was worried."

"I can take care of myself." she snapped

"fine I just wont help anymore." I shrugged and walked away.

Annabeth's POV

"fine I just won't help anymore." pony shrugged and walked away.

"are you okay Andy?"

"yeah hopefully your other brothers like me."

"trust me they will."

At House

"hey anyone home?" I called out into the house.

"yeah in here." soda yelled

"I want you to meet someone." I whispered

"Anna bear speak up I can't hear your beautiful voice." soda said walking out. "Anna who's this."

"m-my boy b-boyfriend." I said

"oh my baby sister has a boy. did this start today." he said batting his eyes

I glanced at Andy. "No um 1 year." Soda's jaw dropped "and six months."

"Anna how did you not tell us." soda said

"well Andy and I wanted to make sure it was real."

"Andy nice to meet you. Anna I feel so lied to." he joked I knew be was worried but he didn't show it.

"uh Darry should be home soon like 10 minutes. I'd prepare my speech."

"thanks for being the only cool one about this."

"are you sure about this. we can always make a break for it." Andy laughed

"No I think we should do it. tell big brother Darry." Andy said but I could just tell he was nervous.

"lets get started on our homework Darry will like that." I said.

Darry walked in 10 minutes later

"I heard his door shut. show time." I told Andy

"okay do b squared + c sqared = a squared so the answer is 7.46"

"sounds good" I said I looked up Darry was standing there with his eyes glaring.

"hey Darry this is Andy. my boyfriend." I didn't stutter this time he couldn't do anything about it.

"Hello Andy. I'm Darry. Did this start today?" I was afraid he would ask that.

"well." Andy spoke but I cut him off

"awhile." I said instead of giving him the amount.

"how longs awhile." Darry said staring at Andy

"1year and 6 months." soda said joining the conversation. he later regretted it.

"you knew." Darry said

"I just found out 15 minutes ago." soda said

Darry spent the next hour talking to him asking him a lot of questions like it was some sort of interview.

"you're a very nice boy Andy. would you like to stay for dinner."

"I would love to but I can't my father said this morning that he had very exciting news for me when I came home."

"sounds good. okay see ya later Andy." Soda said giving me a thumbs up.

"I will walk you."

"be careful Anna. be home by 8" Darry said as we started towards the door.

"okay see ya later guys." when they were out of hearing range I said "God I hate how protective they are."

"I think its nice. hey do you want to race. only five blocks."

"sure."

we ran and ran. then it started to rain I slipped and twisted my ankel.

"are you okay."

"no. hey your house is down there I think I can manage."

" Anna its already really swollen." he said with concern. Looking down at my bare legs

" I'm fine just carry me to your steps I Want to hear the news."

"sure thing."

"hey dad I'm home what was the news?" Andy asked expecting it to be a puppy or a new car.

His dad signed and then said slowly "we are moving to China for 5 years."

"uh. when." Andy asked with surprise in his voice.

" 2 days the company wants me there as soon as possible."

"Andy I'm gonna head home looks like you need to pack."

"Anna are you sure?"

"I can do it I'm Annabeth Curtis." I started to cry he gave me that saying.

"Anna." he went in for the hug.

"no don't I will see you at school tomorrow." I kissed him

I hobbled down the stairs. I was hot then cold. I felt myself getting to the point where I'm about to pass out. I jumpped 3 blocks on my left foot then collapsed the world was spinning. I was soaked. Then it went black.
