Chapter XXV

Hazel’s Point of View

 It’s been two wonderful years, Chresanto and I are still together. We have been though a lot from break-ups to make-ups, he’s been supportive and has helped me. Tonight is prom night, so Marie and I were at her house getting ready. I was wearing rhinestone/sky blue chiffon floor-length prom dress, with black Christian Louboutin Daffodile spiked red bottom platform pumps.

 Marie was dressed in her coral square neckline sweep train prom dress, with nude Christian Louboutins Zoulou platform sandals. My hair was back in a waterfall braid while hers was back curly with a curly ponytail. My makeup was mocha myth Laura Mercier creme smooth lip colour, and Justin Bieber’s Someday scented perfume. Marie was wearing allure velvet Chanel rouge lipstick, NARS Larger Than Life volumizing mascara, and One Direction’s Our Moment fragrance perfume.

 ‘’We look cute.’’ I said.

 ‘’I still can’t believe that Prince and I made it this far.’’ She said. Her and Prince will be three years today.

 ‘’You guys are the most cutest couple.’’ I said.

 ‘’Thank you, you and Roc are meant to be.’’ She said.

 ‘’I know, he supports and always takes me out.’’ I said.

 ‘'Same with Princeton.’’ She said.

 ‘’Girls, your dates are here.’’ Ms. Jhene said. We took a look at each other then walked downstairs. Chresanto and Prince were standing with their tuxedos on. Chresanto walked over to me and put my corsage on my arm.

 ‘’You truly are the definition of beauty.’’ He said, kissing my hand. I blushed and kissed his heek.

 ‘’Two years baby, two years.’’ I said smiling.

 ‘’You ready to go ladies?’’ Princeton asked.

 ‘’Wait, I want some pictures.’’ Ms. Jhene said grabbing her camera. We all got together and smiled. Jas’mariee and Princeton took photos together, Chresanto and I took photos together, and Jas’mariee, Naomi, and I took pictures.

 ‘’Have fun.’’ She said putting Naomi on her hip. We all smiled and walked outside. Kenneth, their security guard was waiting for us outside the white Tahoe. He opened the door and we all got into the backseat. He closed the door and I put my head on Chresanto’s shoulder.

 ‘’Babe, I think we should get an apartment together.’’ I said.

 ‘’I’m cool with that, because you gonna be having my babies.’’ He said.

 ‘’You wish.’’ I said.

 ‘’I know, you are because we gonna be together forever.’’ He said. I smiled and kissed his cheek. He intertwined our fingers. I looked over at Jas’mariee and Prince, they were kissing. The truck stopped and Kenneth got out. He opened the door and we stepped out. All eyes were on us. We walked in and the girls went crazy.

 ‘’Oh my gosh, you’re Roc Royal from Mindless Behavior.’’ This girl in my Math class said. Chresanto nodded and we continued walking.

 ‘’Babe, what do you wanna do?’’ He asked.

 ‘’Let’s dance for now.’’ I said. He nodded and we walked toward the dance floor. Saving All My Loving For You by Whitney Houston was playing. Chresanto pulled me close to him and rocked us.

 ‘’I’m saving all my love for you.’’ I sang into Chresanto’s ear. He smiled and kissed my cheek. I put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. The music stopped and Chresanto let go. Our principal came up on the stage.
