Hazel’s Point of View

I’m going to give Chresanto back anything from the relationship he gave me expect the promise ring and necklace. I slipped on white young TLC tee shirt, grey diesel plafact sweatpants, with varsity blue/white/black Air Griffeys Max 1’s. My hair was in a messy bun. I grabbed the box of stuff and walked out of my bedroom.

I grabbed my keys off of the kitchen counter and walked out of the condo. I walked down the stairs to the lobby. I walked out of the doors to the parking garage. I walked over to my Audi. I hit the alarm and the doors unlocked. I got in and put the box in the passenger seat. I put the key into the ignition and pulled off.

I’m pass this, school started three months ago and I’m at the top of my classes. I pulled up to Chresanto mother’s home. I took the key out of the ignition and grabbed the box. I got out of the car and walked up the pathway to the front door. I knocked on the door and stepped back. The door opened and I seen Ms. August.

‘’Hi, hun. You looking for Chresanto?’’ She asked.

‘’Yes ma’am.’’ I said. She shouted his name and walked away from the door. I was then faced with him. No shirt with boxers. He looked horrible.

‘’Hazel.’’ He said, surprised yet had a brightened face.

‘’Yes, Roc. Here is your stuff.’’ I said handing him the box.

‘’What, I don’t want this for us.’’ He said looking in my eyes.

‘’You said it, so I moved on. I’m focused only on my education.’’ I said.

 ‘’I’m sorry.’’ He said.

 ‘’Roc, don’t start.’’ I said.

‘’Can we at least talk?’’ He asked.

‘’Everything has been said.’’ I said.

‘’I just want explain why I said, can we go down to the park?’’ He asked.

‘’I don’t care, I have work to do Roc. You have an hour and a half.’’ I said. He shot out of my sight. When it comes to him, I don’t know what happened. He walked down fifteen minutes later fully dressed.

‘’Let’s go to the backyard.’’ He said. We walked to the back of the house and sat down on the tree swing.

‘’Hazel, I didn’t mean anything I said. I was just in the heat of the moment. I really do love you.’’ He said.

‘’Roc, I’m not that forgiving. You had me crying for you, I was thinking about everything. I had to deal with the tears, the long nights, the days where I was in depression, and don’t get me started on the afternoons were my head was over the toilet because of all the crying I did.’’ I said.

‘’What about me, when I walked out of that door I was heartbroken. I didn’t mean for this argument to end our three year relationship. I really love you.’’ He said.

 ‘’Roc, I can’t do this.’’ I said.

‘’Can I at least moved back in? I’ll sleep on the couch.’’ He said.

‘’I don’t care, Roc. You’re not my boyfriend or best friend anymore. You’re just a ex and roommate.’’ I said.

‘’Okay, I’ll be back over later.’’ He said.

‘’I got one question.’’ I said.

 ‘’What’s up?’’ He asked.

‘’Why would you even want to end the relationship? I was a good girlfriend and I held you down.’’ I said. He sighed deeply.

‘’It just came out of my mouth, I don’t know why I said it.’’ He said. ‘’Also, can’t you call me Chresanto?’’ He asked.

‘’That was your name when you were my boyfriend, but now you’re just a roommate.’’ I said.

‘’Can we at least try to rebuild?’’ He asked. I literally laughed out loud.

‘’Boy, bye. You better be glad you getting to stay in the condo.’’ I said. I got up and walked off. I walked to my car and got in. I put the key into the ignition and pulled off.

 Roc Royal’s Point of View

Damn, I messed up. I just Hazel and I to be back together. I walked back inside and grabbed the box. I walked out of the door to my Mercedes. I opened the door and put the key into the ignition. I sat the box in the passenger seat. I backed out of the driveway and pulled off. I turned up the radio.

What am I going to do? I pulled into the parking garage. I took the key out of the ignition and got out of the car. I walked inside the building and up the stairs. I grabbed my key out of my pocket and walked inside. I closed the door behind myself. Hazel was sitting on the couch, in one of my old tee shirts doing her college work.

‘’I see that you are wearin’ my tee shirt.’’ I smirked. She looked up at me.

‘’It’s comfortable.’’ She said. I walked over to the couch and sat beside her. She continued doing her college work. I scooted closer to her till’ we were really close.

‘’Haze, can I ask you something?’’ I asked.

‘’Sure, go ahead.’’ She said still looking down at her work.

‘’Do you miss us?’’ I asked. She looked at me and sighed.

‘’Honestly, I don’t know.’’ She said.

‘’So don’t miss the hugs?’’ I asked.

‘’Sometimes.’’ She said. I hugged her tightly.

‘’You don’t miss how our conversations went?’’ I asked.

 ‘’Kinda.’’ She said.

‘’My last question, you don’t miss our kisses?’’ I asked.

‘’Kinda.’’ She said. I pulled her close and gave the most passionate kiss ever. She crawled into my lap, straddling me. I pulled away, putting my nose on her’s.

‘’I just want you back.’’ I said.

‘’Roc, I don’t know. I don’t want to jump right back into the relationship.’’ She said.

 ‘’I understand.’’ I said.

‘’Roc, I still love you but give me some time.’’ She said.

‘’I love you, Hazel. Remember when I told you I’ll wait a million years if I have to?’’ I asked.

 ‘’Yeah.’’ She said.

‘’If it takes you that long I’ll still love you the same.’’ I said. She smiled and got off of my lap. I don’t care if I have to wait a long time, I’ll still love her.
