Sam's POV

I felt someone shaking me awake, I groaned and opened one eye slightly to see who was trying to wake me up.

"Hey there Sammy!" my aunt Beth smiled down at me, I opened both eyes fully and sat up, I saw she was holding two boxes of pizza and a bag which I assume had some ice cream or something in.

"Hey, what time is it?" I asked with a yawn. my aunt chuckled lightly.

"It's six fifteen, I knew you would get hungry so I woke you up." she informed me with a knowing smile. I grinned at my aunt, she knew me and my bad habits. if I ever had a nap in the day and missed a meal, I'd get really hungry and really grumpy.

"I'm gonna go downstairs and get the movie set up and get out some plates, you go freshen up." she instructed, I replied with a nod and with that she walked out of the room.

Once again I stifled a yawn before stretching and pushing back the covers to get out of bed. I trudged over to my bathroom where I splashed some cold water on my face causing me to instantly feel awake. I kept my eyes closed to stop any water getting into them and searched for a towel.

Eventually I had managed to find a towel and I wiped my face dry. looking in the mirror, I saw a few spots forming - ah the joys of being a teenager! I thought as I place the towel in the dirty laundry basket which was placed at the entrance of my bathroom.

Looking down at my outfit, I decided that there wasn't any point in getting changed however it was a little cold so I decided to pull on my purple hoodie which was draped over my door handle, it was my favorite hoodie to wear at home because it was soft and kept me warm. I quickly ran a brush through my hair to avoid having a frizzy mess on top of my head.

Finally I exited my room and padded down the stairs as the amazing aroma of pizza invaded my nostrils, instantly causing my stomach to make a dying noise - time to feed.

I found my aunt sitting down on the sofa in the living room, she had placed the boxes of pizza and the plates on the coffee table and I saw that she had decided to put on the film already - 'Avengers Assemble' I grinned, this was one of my favorite films of all time!

"You know me so well!" I told her with a grin as I collapsed besides her.

"I know, I'm simply amazing!" she told me in a British accent causing me to laugh.

"So how about we eat and watch the film then ice cream and gossip?" she asked me with a grin.

"You know I'm not one to gossip." I reminded my aunt who simply pouted.

"Every girl likes to gossip!" she exclaimed causing me to roll my eyes.

"This girl doesn't but I'm pretty sure Jamie does." I told her and laughed.

My aunt rolled her eyes before she hit play on the remote and we began to eat and watch the best movie of all time.

"Hawkeye is awesome! how could you say that?" I yelled at my aunt who simply laughed at me.

"He's not my type, I prefer Captain America." she told me, she had a dreamy expression plastered on her face.

"Oh dear!" I laughed whilst face palming "anyone would think you we're a teenager with a crush on some fictional superhero." I told her before grabbing my ice cream tub and taking a spoonful of the chocolatey dessert.

"I think he's my type and I'm just immature for my age sometimes." My aunt told me with a wink.

"You could do better." I told her, she nodded and her face suddenly lit up, what am I missing?
