Sam's POV
Let me tell you a little about SSA Spencer Reid. He is extremely intelligent which I admire him for, however he gets well... a little over excited about science, theories, evidence etc because he speaks at about 100mph yet I still can understand him.
Anyways, right now, I am currently sitting on my bed. It was finally the weekend again! I have to admit, the week went extremely quick, as well as any type of conversation with James. He was distant again, like when he joined Claire's clique.
The others had picked up on his moods, something was bothering him. I did have a feeling it was about what happened in the park. Surely girls should be more affected by that? Well then again, I'm not your average girl...
I don't know what to do. I'm quite bored which is pretty normal considering the average attention span of a teenager is pretty small. Mine usually shrinks when it wants but usually I'm always alert and ready to jump into action like coming up with an awesome remark to CClaire's pathetic attempts to insult me.
I'm still curious about who Aunt Beth's boyfriend. Who is this guy? He's gotta be pretty damn awesome to make her blush like a high school girl whenever he's mentioned. Apparently I get to meet him in a week or so, there's a family gathering at my grandparents house. That should be fun... I could creep him out trying to profile him.
Glancing at my alarm clock, it read that it was only ten in the morning. What should I do? I could play guitar? Eat some food? Hmmm. I'm gonna check out what everyone's up to.
"Okay Phil," I muttered, "Lets talk to some peeps."
Phil responded as he lit up and directed me to my messages where I sent a group text under the name 'Crazy Crew'
To: Crazy Crew
Wassup peeps, I'm dead bored. Anyone wanna hang out?
-Sammieeee xx
I hit send and placed Phil down on the table. And now, I shall wait.
Instead of staring at Phil, hoping a message would arrived, I decided to leave my bedroom as I heard various voices echo from downstairs. I crept down and peered into the living room where my dad, Jack, Joey and Aunt Beth sat, seeming to have some sort of conversation which wasn't interesting according to Jack who was staring intently at his Nintendo screen, probably playing Mario. Typical.
"Sam, we were wondering if you could go over to James's today, his parents need help decorating their spare room and I offered your help considering how bored you are." My Dad explained to me, causing me to narrow my eyes and glare at him.
"Please enlighten me on how you thought I was bored." I sarcastically remarked, my older brother smirked and dad pointed to him.
"Traitor." I hissed, causing my Aunt to chuckle.
"Oh come on Sam, you know you want to see lover boy." Joey teased, I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah right, just how you're dying to go and see that girl you were kissing last week but you can't because your car broke down." I shot back, causing a glare to be fired at me.
"Traitor." Joey hissed back.
I grinned and then directed my attention to my father.
"So why do I have to go?" I asked with a frown.
"Because Sam, you are close with James and they could use the help! Besides the rest of us are busy so get ready, I will drop you off in a minute."
I sighed at my dad, why did he offer my help? I wasn't on the best terms with James as it is, things would be plain awkward...
I shrugged before running back upstairs to shove a few essentials in my backpack - Phil, Phil's charger, headphones, a hoodie, a extra shirt (incase I got paint on the one I was already wearing), a water bottle and some gummy bears.
