James's POV
Today 'The Crazy Crew' were meeting up at the park to catch up and hang out. I had already met up with the others and we were still waiting for Sam to arrive.
To be honest I was a little nervous about seeing her after yesterday, but I don't understand! We have been best friends for a year, I know it doesn't seem long but our group have become closer than ever and we are basically inseparable at times.we tell each other everything... well almost everything considering I haven't told Sam about my feelings for her. I don't know if I can, it could wreck our whole friendship and I really really don't want that to happen...
I was knocked out of thought as Emily was yelling my name.
"Huh what?" I asked, completely dazed. Emily was tapping her foot impatiently and raised an eyebrow.
"I said we're going to Luigi's Cafe, are you okay with that?" she asked whilst gesturing to the cafe besides her, I nodded at her with a sheepish grin.
"Ah don't worry Em! He was just daydreaming about Sa-" I stopped Jamie from finishing his sentence by clamping a hand over his mouth.
"Ignore him, he's being stupid." I told the girls, trying to avoid their questioning looks. I began to walk into the cafe with the others trailing behind me. I opened the door and the little bell chimed.
Instantly I felt relaxed as the familiar coffee smell filled the air. Megan led us towards the leather sofas in the far corner of the room which was our usual spot.
The walls were a deep red colour which complimented the brown leather sofas, tables and chairs around the room. There were pieces of art work containing quotes, sayings and beautiful drawings scattered around on the walls. Luigi's cafe had a great happy and relaxing atmosphere.
I sat down on the end of the sofa beside Megan, who had Emily on the other side of her and the boys settled on the sofa opposite, the only thing between us was the coffee table which ha a few coffee stains on the wood, nothing major or off putting, it kind of gave the cafe that homely feel to it.
I grabbed my phone out my pocket, ignoring the girls' conversations about school and something to do with the band. I decided to text Sam, considering that she thought we were at the park,
To: Sammy :P
Hey! Meet us in Luigi's Cafe, we're getting drinks :) would you like me to get you anything? xxx -James
I sighed and impatiently waited for a reply. Glancing up, I realised there weren't many customers in here apart from us of course, an elderly couple who were chatting away whilst sipping their tea, a family of four whose children were making a mess of their chocolate muffins which caused me to lightly chuckle.
DINGDINGDING - that was my pphone indicating that I had a text message, I hastily opened it and read;
From: Sammy :P
Hey! Ooh I see, will meet you in there in 5 mins!& anything would be fine please :) :* xxx -Sammmmmy
I chuckled at her reply and slipped my phone into my pocket, looking up, the girls had gone to order their drinks.
"Dude what's up?" Blake asked leaning forward in his seat.
"Yeah, you seem tense." Jamie commented.
I sighed.
"It's Sam isn't it?" Blake asked.
I nodded.
"Why dude? You are best friends it's gonna be fine, act like normal unless you wanna tell her about how you feel." Jamie suggested.
"I don't know if I should, I mean t could wreck our whole friendship..." I trailed off.
