K E L I R U
[malay, indonesian → confused, boggled]
Maya was speechless—still speechless even when five days have already passed since the day she saw him with her. She felt hopeless—confused, dazzled and boggled all at once. She didn't know what to do.
Did he really cheated on her? Or was it still a fragment of her stupid imagination—no, it was real. Emily saw it too, and she was as tongue-tied as Maya was. She didn't deserve this—she's been living in grief for months.
She even had herself injured badly just thinking about him. But it was all just a lie, a painful lie. Her eyes stung at the thought of him, her heart beating so fast that it hurt her too much. She felt too vulnerable.
Too weak.
But deep down, she felt furious—angry even. She knew she didn't deserve this—she loved him too much, loved him more than she ever could love herself. Why did he do that? Wasn't she good enough?
She had too many questions in mind and she will find her answers—soon.
