A comforting weight rested on my legs as cool, wet lips slid across my belly. Chris's head popped out of the sheets with his hair in an array.

"Hi," he said with an immense grin.

"Hi," I mumbled back in a hoarse morning voice. I looked down at his content face resting on my chest and wondered why I had been so upset after seeing Brian last night.

"Thanks for the surprise visit last night. What made you change your mind about coming by?"

"What? Do I need a reason?"

"Of course not, "he smiled. "I just hoped you missed me."

"You know I missed you," I replied kissing his lips. "I can't get enough of you."

"Did you miss me or my body? I don't know what got into you, but I liked it. You were on fire."

I was offended by his statement but knew what he meant. I had been irritated by Brian's arrogant attitude and advances and wanted to erase them from my mind using Chris to do so. "What do you mean? I'm always like that with you."

"Not like that," he laughed kissing my neck. "But I like it when you take over. You were on a mission."

"Well we can continue this morning," I replied wrapping my legs around his firmly rubbing his biceps with my hands. "In fact, why don't we stay here all day?"

I knew he was meeting Brian and hoped he would tell me without having to ask. I was on to Brian's games and knew he hoped Chris would keep their meeting with me. He was building a relationship with Chris to cause mistrust between us and I needed to keep them apart.

"Are you trying to leg lock me?" Chris asked rolling up on his forearms; his face directly above me.

"Maybe," I grinned just as he rolled me over on top of him.

"This reminds me of last night. I kinda like you on top."

"As I said, we can stay here all day. Do you have enough food and water in your room for the next 24 hours?" I laughed hoping he would agree to my offer.

"I would love to, but have another appointment. But I have an hour to spare," he chuckled kissing my ear.

"I bet I can make you break your appointment," I said into his neck to smell the lingering trace of his musky cologne.

He sighed and pulled away slightly. "I have to tell you something you might not like."

I knew where this was going and I wanted to remain calm. "That doesn't sound good, but you know you can tell me anything. We promised to be open with each other."

"I'm meeting Brian."

As much as I hated the idea of their meeting I wanted to smile with triumph at his honesty. I waited for him to continue, thinking of how I should tell him about my confrontation.

"He called me just as I was going into the banquet and wanted to talk about my dad. I know it's about his affair with Bella so I agreed to meet him." He pushed my hair behind my ears. "I know it sounds strange, but I don't want him telling my mother. She knows about my father's reputation but has no idea he's sleeping with Bella. It would kill her."

I understood his situation and felt sorry for the predicament he was in. He needed me for support and honesty was the only option. "I already know," I admitted.

"How do you know?" He asked with a puzzled look.

"I saw him last night," I replied and closed my eyes quickly waiting for an eruption from Chris. Instead, he looked worried by my response.
