Malungkot ito ang ayaw ko sa lahat ang may umaalis at aalis. Pero heto ako malapit ko ng kantahin ang leaving in a jet plane ni aerosmith. All my bags are pack I'm ready to go na, pati ang pasalubong ko para kila Kisses okay na rin. So ready to go na talaga "Am I ready na nga ba?". This year was different for the past four years ko ginagawa pero hindi naman ako nahirapan umalis at bumalik sa Manila. Yahh... i know this time was different because of the family Barbers. Sino ba naman aayaw umuwi sa totoong lang masarap sila mag-alaga. Never nila pinaramdam sa akin na Im different. They welcome me as part of their family. Medyo teary eye na ako ng biglang pumasok si ate Laura.
"Oh my Maymay why you crying?" she ask.
"Hindi ate napuwing lang ako" sagot ko habang pinupunasan ko ang mata ko.
"oh Maymay!" Alam ko hindi siya naniniwala. "Tahan na will gonna visit you naman sa Philippines once daddy is okay" niyakap niya ako lalo tuloy ako naiiyak.
"Ate can i stay here forever?" ano ba itong nararamdaman ko ngayon pa ata ako magdra-drama.
"Oo naman pwede ng pwede, basta marry my brother so that you can stay here as long as you want!" nakangiti.
"haha ate joker ka na rin huh" sabay kiliti ko sa kanya habang yakapan.
Naabutan kami ni daddy Kev's at Mama Cathy na naghaharitan ni ate Laura.
"Oh what's happening here?" daddy kevs ask.
"Maymay want's to stay here forever, isaid she need to marry Edward first!" ate Laura explain and they all laughing.
"Kayo huh parang gusto niyong mapikot si Edward huh"
"What is pikot?" ate laura ask.
"Ano nga ba yun mama Cathy? ahhh parang ano!"
"shotgun wedding ata" mama cathy said.
"Ay naku May my brother is willing to marry you even if its not or you make her pikot him".
"May all your things is pack and ready?"
"yes, mama cathy, ako na lang po ang ata hindi ready e!" sabay lapit at yakap ko kay mama Cathy.
"Like what I'll always say to you, your welcome here. This is your second home and we are family remember that" mama cathy hug me.
"And yes iha, if you feel suffocate and need to breathe in showbiz world ran here in Germany nandito lang kami. And if everyone make away you and bash you sumbong mo sa akin ako bahala I'll protect you, okay" daddy Kevs said.
"Oh Daddy Kevs" I hug him."Daddy promise me na you gonna take care yourself huh. Kayo pa ang maghahatid sa akin sa altar kapag kinasal ako since I don't have father and Papa Joe wont be there. Your gonna be my daddy huh!"
"Yes May, Kahit hindi si Edward ang groom mo ako pa rin ang mag-escort sayo to the altar"
"Promise yan daddy Kevs huh after five years pa naman ako makakasal kaya you need to be healthy" habang niyayakap ko siya.
"Ang who's wedding you ganna attend dad?" biglang dumungaw si Edward sa pintuan.
“Maymay!” sabay sabay nilang sagot.
“ikakasal ka na?” tanong niya sa akin.
“Hindi--- Yes!” sabay namin sagot ate Laura.
“Ate Laura, her you go again huh. Dont make joke about the wedding especially if Maymay is involve.” sagot ni Edward.
“Why?” sabay namin tanong sa kanya.
“Basta ---” nakasimangot na sagot niya. Nakakatinginan kami ni ate, mama at daddy Kev's.
