"i'm gonna take a shower real quick." y/n said.
josh waited patiently for y/n to leave the room. when he heard the water turn on, josh decided it was a good time to tell tyler.
"tyler,"
"hm?"
"i want you to take into account that we have to head home in a few days." his words hit tyler like a brick to the head.
"w-what?"
"i'm just reminding you. we can't stay here forever."
"why not?" tyler asked.
"because, we have a life, and a job to get back to."
"we can move our job here."
"tyler...i'm just telling you to not get too attached to y/n."
"we can move our job here." tyler repeated.
"we have to go home eventually."
"so? why can't we stay longer?"
"because the longer we stay, the more you fall in love with y/n."
"but..."
"we have to leave eventually."
"no, we don't."
"yes, we do."
"we could move. live here."
"are you even listening to yourself, tyler?!"
"i want to stay."
"we can't."
"why? we're adults. we can move here. buy a house."
"tyler. we are not moving just because you met some girl online."
tyler couldn't believe josh said that.
"what the hell, josh?!"
y/n was alarmed to hear yelling in the other room. she turned the water down to listen.
"i'm just saying. she means too much to you."
"you know what? you can leave. you can continue our job. go back to ohio and live whatever life you want. but i'm staying here."
she heard the sound of a door slam. y/n
quickly got dressed before leaving to see the scene.
"what happened? where's josh?" she asked seriously.
"he left."
"why?"
"we got in a fight...but i'm sure he'll be back by morning."
"o-okay."
"also," tyler continued.
"why do you both do that?"
"do what?" y/n realized what he meant seconds after asking.
"not dry off when you get out of the shower." she rolled her eyes at him.
"shut up and go to bed." y/n said before crawling into the bed. tyler smiled at her. the girl herself seemed to take all pain of the world away.
