"okay okay close your eyes!" tyler said excitedly.
"where are we going?" y/n asked curiously.
"just close your eyes!"
"fine." y/n did as told before tyler began to guide her through the house. up the stairs and across the hall they entered the entertainment room.

"may i open my eyes now?" she asked again.
"mnm." tyler hummed in disapproval. he pulled the girl over to a seat.
"okay, sit down. but don't open your eyes!"
y/n sat on what seemed to be a stool as a large object sat in front of her. tyler positioned himself next her and guided her arms to rest above the wooden item.
"now, open them!" y/n's eyes widened at what was in front of her. a grand piano. she turned to tyler in shock.
"thankyouthankyouthankyou!" she said grateful, hugging the boy.
"you're welcome," he replied simply.
"you said you wanted to learn."
"t h a n k y o u !" y/n repeated thankfully.

a few days later tyler stood at the entryway of the room. y/n sat at the piano with sheet music in front of her. each key of the piano had a smol piece of tape on it that was labeled with a letter and a note. she played each note slower than the original, as piano is a difficult instrument to learn.

he made his {way} over to the couch. y/n continued to play. she was very focused and seemed to be unaware of his presence. her fingers glided gently over each key. the girl  began to hum lightly to the song, before letting her voice take over.
"i can feel your breath, i can feel my death."
the lyric was simple, but her voice was haunting. the way she carried each note gave tyler goosebumps.
"i want to know you, i want to see, I want to say hello."
she hit the last few keys on the piano.

tyler began to clap for her. y/n's head snapped towards him.
"shit. you scared me."
"sorry, that was beautiful."
"not really but thank you anyway."
"it was, you're voice is amazing."
she smiled brightly at him.
"thank you."
