y/n, tyler, and josh were at y/n's house collecting stuff for the new house.
"you almost done?" josh asked. he sat on her bed, scrolling through twitter.
"mhm." y/n hummed.
tyler was standing at the window, observing.
"shit." he whispered.
"what?" y/n approached the window worriedly.
a car was rolling up to the house.
"your parents are home." he stated.
"i-i'm sure we'll be fine. let's just go." y/n wanted to have some hope. she lugged the box into her arms. tyler nodded. josh, confused, still didn't question anything.

y/n's dad was outside as the three left.
"where the fuck have you been? and who the fuck are they?" his voice was strong and loud as he walked heavily towards the group. josh was surprised at his aggression.
"i'm leavings. can i just go?" y/n asked anxiously. her heart began beating faster as breaths got heavier, the feeling of helplessness felt to familiar. she wanted nothing more than to be away from him.
"and where do you think you're going?"
"don't act like you care." she said under her breath. tyler took note of how close he stood to y/n. her father punched the girl, y/n fell back onto the concrete. josh rushed to help her up as tyler approached her dad.
"how about you back the fuck off?" tyler grabbed the collar of the mans shirt and shoved him backwards.
"and who the hell are you?!"
josh helped y/n to the car, making sure she was okay.
"you're daughters boyfriend."
"yeah-fucking-right. like anyone could love that brat." his words were laced with poison that seemed to hit tyler.

tyler punched him in the jaw. he fell backwards, slamming his head against the concrete.
"fuck!" the man yelled in pain.
tyler smiled condescendingly.
"i love that brat, you bitch."
it wasn't a character tyler wore often, but he simply couldn't handle the way he treated y/n.
