"hey, me and josh are gonna go run some errands. we'll be back in a few hours."
"kay, be safe." tyler kissed y/n on the cheek before turning to josh to leave.
while driving, josh began to wonder the whereabouts of the destination they were heading.
"where are we going?" josh asked.
"um, you'll see." he replied hesitantly.
"okaaay. is there a reason you're not telling me?"
tyler took a moment to think before shaking his head.
"so..." tyler started anxiously.
"we've lived in that house for a few months now." the boy swallowed nervously as he drove.
"mhm?" josh urged him to continue on.
"and me and y/n have been together for a while."
"yeeeesssss, and?"
tyler pulled into a drive way as he gave josh a minute to realize what he meant.
"oh my god..." he turned to tyler. josh admired the jewelry building before them. he was happy and nervous as hell. both of them were.
"you're kidding me." a bright smile grew on josh's face. tyler shook his head.
"i need you to help me choose a ring."
"when are you gonna propose?"
"at a concert. i'm sure we can find a place to perform at. i wanna do a ukulele cover of cant help falling in love. then, i'll bring her on stage and..."
"are you sure you wanna do this?" josh asked cautiously.
"you love her too, y'know? she's amazing. i'm sure."
"okay, if you say so."
