"You what?"Kurt sighed, glaring at the blonde sat across him, "I broke up with Chandler."
"Why? I thought you guys were so happy." Anna frowned.
"No, not really. We'd been, uh, arguing for quite a while now."
"About anything in particular?" Katie muttered, peering over her coffee mug.
"Just- just the usual- no, not just the usual." Kurt looked down at his coffee, "About Blaine,"
"Blaine Anderson?"
Kurt looked up at Katie, "What other Blaines do you know of?"
"Geez, sorry."
"Sorry, I just- I'm going through a lot. I'm trying to figure some stuff out."
"Maybe we could help you? What happened to the time when we'd tell each other everything?"
Kurt nodded sadly, looking back down at his coffee before raising it to his lips and taking a small sip.
"Why were you arguing about Blaine?"
"Chandler thought I couldn't be trusted to be around Blaine without anything happening."
Katie raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean by 'anything'."
"Come on, K, what do you think?" Kurt laughed.
"Well," Anna began, "Could you be trusted?"
Kurt looked up and met Anna's gaze, "Not exactly..."
"What does that mean? You didn't-"
"I- we were both extremely drunk. It- it didn't-"
"Kurt calm down." Anna laughed.
"You're not mad?"
"What? No. Why would we be?" Katie frowned, glancing sideways to Anna.
"I don't know."
"I'm actually kind of glad this happened." Katie grinned.
"You're glad I cheated on my boyfriend?"
"I never liked him anyway." Anna shrugged.
"And this means that, because you're dating Blaine, I'll get to see him-"
"Who said I was dating him?"
"I thought you were."
Kurt sighed and shook his head, "I'm afraid not."
"But you want to?"
"What?" Kurt's head snapped up, "No I don't."
Anna shared a knowing look with Katie before changing the subject hastily.
-_-_-_-
Kurt fiddled around with his keys before managing to unlock his front door, stepping inside and slamming his door shut behind himself, leaning against it. He exhaled deeply before pushing himself off of the door and walking into his living room and collapsing into his couch.
Resting his head against the arm rest, Kurt pulled out his phone and began scrolling through his contacts list before clicking on Blaine's name.
He typed out a message and his thumb hovered over the send button. After a long deliberation on whether to send it or not, Kurt pressed his thumb down on the button, his heart rate speeding up as he read back over his message.
To Blaine,
I broke up with Chandler.
It most definitely wasn't much and Kurt wasn't entirely sure why he'd sent it. But he had and he'd just have to hope for the best and deal with the consequences.
This is very short but I wrote this while watching Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 so I obviously had to stop quite a few times to cry... and I kept writing Snape or Harry instead of Kurt or Blaine... but oh well. I need to get this finished
