This chapter's rlly short...
"Hey, Blaine." Kurt greeted the boy sat in the kitchen.
"Kurt." Blaine swallowed the cereal he was eating, "Hi."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Just a few bruises. Nothing bad." Blaine smiled weakly as he watched Kurt cautiously sit down in a seat opposite him.
"Who did you get into a fight with?"
"I, uh, just a guy from school." Blaine lied.
"I may not know you that well but I can tell when you're lying. You're not very good at it." Kurt raised an eyebrow, "Who did you really get into a fight with?"
"Promise you won't tell anyone?"
"Promise." Kurt smiled.
"My dad."
"What?" Kurt gasped.
"I got into a fight with my dad."
"Your dad did that to you?" Kurt almost reached across the table to touch Blaine's cheek but managed to stop himself.
"He gets kinda crazy when he's drunk." Blaine laughed humourlessly.
"Why would he do that?"
"He's very homophobic. He just can't accept that I love guys." Blaine sighed, "It's annoying."
"That seems like an understatement." Kurt laughed, "So, I knew you before, huh?"
"Sort of." Blaine laughed.
"Could you tell me how?"
"No." Blaine shook his head.
"Oh, come on." Kurt whined, "You gotta tell me!"
"Why?" Blaine snapped, "Why do I have to tell you?"
"Geez. Sorry. I just wanted to know."
"Sorry." Blaine rubbed a hand over his face, "I will tell you at some point. Just not now."
"Why not now?"
"I'm not ready." Blaine bit his lip.
"Not ready for what?"
"For the consequences." Blaine chuckles quietly, "I'll be honest with you; the last time we saw each other before your accident wasn't exactly good. I said and did some things that still haunt me to this day."
"They haunt you?" Kurt frowned, "How so?"
"I just can't believe I said that to the person I love." Blaine sighed and stared at the table, "We were at my house and y-you found something on my phone which you got mad about. So I started yelling at you and I-I said some really, really bad things. I wish I could just go back in time to make sure I don't say them or you could actually remember me so I can apologise."
"I'm really sorry. I wish I could remember." Kurt sighed.
"One day." Blaine looked up to finally meet Kurt's eyes, "One day you're gonna remember me and how much I loved you. And then you're gonna hate me for doing the things I did."
"Blaine-"
"I should go." Blaine stood up and darted out of the room before Kurt could say anything else.
